Summaries

  • Stan and Kyle become local celebrities after they score 100,000 points on the video game "Guitar Hero." A talent agent signs them to a contract, which ends up ruining their friendship.

Synopsis

  • Stan and Kyle are considered the masters of Guitar Hero by their friends. Randy attempts to show the boys what real guitar-playing is with his actual guitar and amp, but his skills fail to impress the boys.

Randy then states that playing Guitar Hero will not get the boys noticed. However, when they get 100,000 points, a talent agent shows up at their door, claiming that they can possibly reach 1,000,000 points. A performance is set up at a local arcade, and the boys grow excited. However, the agent convinces Stan to play with another Guitar Hero player named Thad. Stan hides it as long as he can, but Kyle soon finds out and walks out on his friend.

As Stan goes to the video game store for some new player's guides, the cashier recommends he play a game called 'Heroin Hero' to de-stress. However, Stan gets to addicted to the game that he pitches a fit, causing Thad to quit. Stan claims he can reach 1,000,000 points by himself, but he shows up on the day of the performance having become addicted to Heroin Hero, playing it 3 days straight. He is unable to play and soon the video game crowd boos him off the stage.
