The intro to this episode is heavily inspired by the intro of "The Brady Bunch (1969)," including the cheery tune, title font, and split screen.

The Hydra Soak commercial is reminiscent of the "Calgon, Take Me Away" bath powder commercials. Hydra is the name of the terrorist organization in the Marvel universe.

Exterior shots, such as when Vision speaks with the doctor and his neighbor for the first time, are filmed as if they were indoors on a closed set, similar in fashion to shows of the era like The Brady Bunch (1969), which is the primary influence of this episode. The matte background is clearly visible through the screen doors heading to the studio-lit back yard.

Wanda and Vision debate over what name to call their son: Wanda wants Tommy, while Vision wants Billy. In the comics, the couple had twins named Tommy and Billy, who went on to be the superheroes Speed and Wiccan (Tommy with super-speed, and Wiccan with magical powers).

Wanda tries to end the debate with wanting a girl. This is a reference to Viv Vision, the Vision's daughter with a fellow android.

The doll Vision uses to practice diaper changes is Kitty Carryall from The Brady Bunch.
