  • The message given in this one is already outdated. People mostly care social media fame nowadays. There will be always people who watch tv religiously sure but that kind of people not going to watch a Cem Yilmaz movie in the first place so it's pointless and little late to go with this story. All of the Karakomik titles were all over the place yet still hopeful for the next full length feature from Cem Yilmaz. I believe he can do much better focusing on only one and polishing it into a masterpiece.
  • Worst movie I have seen in a while. Pretty low level satire comparing to other works of Cem Yilmaz. It feels like it was written by a 14 year old girl who has opinions about the modern world. Dialogues are mediocre and the story is pretty unoriginal. This is not art.

If decades of social analysis by Cem Yilmaz and the writers leaded up to this movie, then shame on them.

It is not worth your time. Don't expect to gain anything from this, because the effect of the movie immediately ends. You won't remember this movie.

I don't remember the last meaningless 1 hour. What has just happened? What did I watch? So cheesy. Not comic not dramatic just nothing trying to give some kind of message i guess lol

Cem Yilmaz is Turkey's all time favorite comedian and I knew this wasn't a comedy movie but the more times I watched the more I laughed at Birol's miserable ineptitude. He is a lunatic! I know it sounds psychopathic but it is Cem Yilmaz for God's sake! He, again impressed me with his acting skills and reminded me of Robert De Niro in all Karakomikler movies. He can play any character and he will be immensely successful in all of them. I have started realizing that his acting skills are greatly underappreciated by his Turkish audience. He can be anyone and you can see nothing left from Cem Yilmaz (as seen in Ayzek) I know that he can play four characters in a movie and no one would recognize three of them are played by Cem Yilmaz, too. Let's go back to Emanet. It really takes courage to play losers for an actor. Birol is weak, flawed, cringeworthy and mostly unlikable exactly the opposite of Cem Yilmaz in real life. I give 9/10 because of the plot since Emanet was the least I like in Karakomiks maybe it is because I am not a fan of TV or social media at all so I am not familiar with what is going on on television channels or social media in Turkey, though I am sure they are not any different in here in the US. Other than the TV part it is an exhilarating example of how Cem Yilmaz' mind works. I like his movies.

    P. S. He smells the air better than anyone, he made Emanet two years before Don't Look Up of Leonardo Di Caprio but Karakomiks have been the victims of the childish political tug of war in Turkey.
  • Because of the first film, my expectation was a bit higher, that's why I may have found this part too ordinary. Even the performance of the artists became steam from this slowness of the story

If you are expecting a comedy movie, you'll be disappointed. Actor and director Cem Yilmaz displays shallowness of the show business, worthless people making big talks on tv.
  • Just a detailed background for the final soap show we see everyday in television. Its a short film just pushing us to look outside the box for a moment.

"Cem Yilmaz" surprised again. The Turkish society thought that "Cem Yilmaz" was a master of laughter. But he proved to be very capable of drama. If you have an opportunity, watch the movie "Season of Hunting". I suggest you to watch the movie.
