Even though the Donovans are deeply troubled by the past , there aren't many episodes dedicated to it . So with all the stores been told , it seems to be a proper ending .
But it's not .
The show is imperfect without another season .
I have no desire leaving such a big possibility to my imagination .
Fingers crossed for Season 8 🤞

"You'll Never Walk Alone" has unexpectedly become the last episode of "Ray Donovan". It wasn't series finalle, yet as season finalle it was superb. Very involving, unexpected, brutal bloody - it was all there including great writing, acting and directing.
Ray Donovan was my one of time favorites. But without that last season and proper ending, it won't be remembered as a great one. "Homeland", "Breaking Bad" will be, but not this one unfortunatelly. Damn you who made this descition in a middle of a run, they should have ended it properly. -

vwelch6720 January 2020Have watched Ray Donovan (in real time, as well as rewatching in binge) since it all began. The acting, writing, & directing in this season was fantastic! This last episode was so intense, (my heart was literally racing at the end)! Found it very satisfying (karma was in her prime!). Really hope they come back for Season 8. RD will always be in my top 5 of favorites! Love Liev, Diz, Eddie, Pooch & especially Jon Voight!!!

I hope for more, but if this was the series finale, it works for me. It tied everything together and elicited every emotion. Disappointed (if it's over) yet fulfilled if it's not.

jkg2320 January 2020One hour of TV and nothing really happened, everything was predictable. They had no idea what to do with this episode. This season had great potential and some episodes were good but ofc they had to ruin everything in last 2 episodes.
I think that was the last season of Ray Donovan I will ever watch and I am sure there are more to come because it feels like it's very very far from the end (or maybe showtime will finally cancel this crap..) -

This season was one of the best ones yet & unfortunately the last. The fact that we keep going from hating to loving these characters & back, it's just how gray they are and I am not ready for their journey to end without proper ending... -

artyhello9 August 2020The season started a bit as a typical overextended soap opera, just to relax viewer's vigilance and capture him with both claws to the end even much harder than previous. It emphasize the whole show concept and raise it to the absolute. Every character's arc perfectly ended with what they deserved by all the time and you can't imagine no other turn there. But how it's served! Even the show soaked with masculinity, not many men can hold back tears at last 20 minutes. Absolutely masterpiece!

Still some unrealistic stuff going on here and there but again not too annoying, just dont think much and you will be just fine.
