Keanu Reeves has stated he's been actively campaigning to get this film made for years and for Francis Lawrence to return.
Keanu Reeves and Peter Stormare both appeared in John Wick: Chapter 2 (2017) and Swedish Dicks (2016).
It is unknown if it will be a direct sequel to the original or a reboot.
