It is speculated that the reason behind Showtime's decision to drop airing the series was concerns regarding its graphic sexual content, as the network was going through a content re-evaluation by its parent company Paramount at the time. In February 2023, Starz bought the rights to the series from Showtime and ended up airing the show on September 2024.

The show aired on 13 December 2023 on European networks. An American premiere, due to complications regarding the streaming rights in the region, ended up being postponed until September 2024.
