Laggy screenplay , BGM and song also not so good
Yuvan Shankar Raja failed to deliver his masterclass, usually Vishal famous for his action sequences but it's not upto his mark,not a worthy movie.

Verdict of the movie..
Porus ( played by Vishal) a person with principles and adamant to go any extent to get the justice underwents turbulence in his life and how he reacts to it forms the rest part of the story....
Negativity of the film....
1) Not a out of the box topic, hero experiences injustice from the villain and the hero by his sheer determination and bravery gives a strong kick back...This plot we have seen in many movies in different versions...Here writer cum director presented the same in his version...
2) Topic of influenced people moulding the law and order for their own sake and how the righteous people fight for their justice is being portrayed which is also not a new one...
3) Dimple Hayathi portraying the female lead, not at all impressive in looks nor in her act...
4) Some situations portrayed which is not convincing.....
5) Baburaj, as an antagonist is well accepted in Malayalam films but when it comes to Kollywood, there is a vision of how an antagonist should be as in 4 different south languages, versions of an antagonist is different & on that ground I can say Baburaj gave a performance of 3/5 rate
Positivity...
1) Vishal performance was astounding...His aggressive, his emotional breakdown, his looks had been very well enacted.
2) Action well choreographed....
3) BGM, was good especially during the action sequences, it added the interest of the movie...
4) Topic of safety towards girls again being reminded through this which is to be noted...
5) Direction by Thu. Pa. Sarvanan was good enough to make the audience watchable for 2hrs 46 min...
Overall a watchable movie but not keeping much expectations.... -
mousyr14 February 2022The movie was Lengthy, and it took off near interval and went engaging. The screenplay could have been better to make it racy, worst in technical cinematography. Editing was let down. Story was predictable. No space for the Dimple Hayati, Yogi Babu's comedy was nice. Vishal's acting and his trademark action sequences were good. A good watch.

Lengthy action drama with run of the mill story. The biggest problem is length of the movie and unnecessary side characters and heroine. The love track is totally not required for this one and the comedy is not at all clicked.
The dialog are so spoon feeding and they kept Yogibabu along hero so that he can explain each and every crime to him. It is so frustrating and some times lead to very lengthy dialog.
Some scenes and actions are really good but all are overshadowed by the spoon feeding dialog. -

Very few can pull off by doing the same concept again and again. Vishal is one among them. Vishal can do the same action movies again and again and pull off with ease because of his action scenes.

ilyasshaji11 February 2022Story is very disappointing with so many cliche and illogical scenes. Vishal is still stuck in his previous movie "Thupparivalan" character.
The protagonist's inquiry into the story is very illogical. The co-stars seemed to be over-acting in many places but also arousing. It is not even one time watchable because these type of cinemas has extremely cliche subject. After thupparivalan success vishal is picking same type of investigation oriented scripts. Antagonist some what okay but this still lacks quality in scripts. The duration of the movie 165 minutes that is also a major con of this film. They made simple short-film script into all time disaster. -

manirsoffl4 February 2022From the start itself there is no gripping over the story line, a narrow and many time seen story with the same kind of treatment, totally bored on each and every minute. Never thought it would be this much worst. Even without songs i dont know why this story elevated for this much of length. Whether the acting is good or not when there is no grip in the story who can appreciate acting?. A big no who just want to watch it for just the entertainment. There is no such thing.

saru20204 September 2022The plot is some 2 decades old and the dialogues are even older but there has been an attempt to make this film presented differently by connecting 3 different story lanes into one with a good cat & mouse game but the attempt is a failure due to poor execution & bad making and worst dialogues, even U1's bgm didn't add much to the film.
Whats wondering in this film is that the film was made by Vishal's banner and Vishal doesn't have any importance in the film till the 2nd half of the film due to the plot's demand of having so many characters in the film and the way he was projected in the 2nd half also seemed to have failed by not giving proper heroism footages, pity on Vishal, looks like he also got carried away by something & missed to look out.
Some of the action sequences were well made but cannot sacrifice 3 hours just for that. -

First up all I need to appreciate the director for engaging whole movie without boring and lagging ...screenplay awesome....everyone asking new story that's not possible try to understand that ...many people have tried all kind of journals...we have lack of stroy ...only possible to do change screenplay... So don't expect more...vishal acting Excellent......overall nice movie from vishal ....
