At the film's climax ending, a segment is repeated a few minutes later: the electrical surge rises from El's statue, breaks the same pane of glass and hits Ba'al in his right cheek again.
At the 8 minute mark, the black security guard points his gun at the robber, while a statue wobbles and is about to fall on him. Since the statue is facing him and falling forward, one would think the statue would land face down. But in the next scene, the statue is facing up while laying on the guard who is crushed,.
Dr. Helm refers to the items Dr. Stanford has as having been "...buried by Sumerian priests a thousand years ago..." Those would have to be pretty old priests: Sumer was absorbed into and succeeded by the Babylonian Empire around 1700 BCE, over 3700 years ago.
The 'Lieutenant' and one other are shown with incorrect insignia. The stripes are from no known US military service, and a 'Lieutenant' would not wear stripes. In the US military, collar insignia is used for enlisted personnel to identify branch assignment and/or function and for an officer's rank and/or Branch.
Military aircraft talked about was a P-3. Actual aircraft shown flying was a C-130. C-130's would be used in the context of the movie, not P-3's.
Almost at the one hour mark, a sign is shown that reads, "You are now enterng the Utah test site", the word 'enterng' being misspelled.
