Consistently good

Just finished watching this season and happy to report that it's up to the usual standard. Whilst some reviewers describe it as dour (which I understand) I've enjoyed all the seasons and Henshall, Bonnar et al make a fine job of it imo.

It's as good as shows such as Vera and Broadchurch and I'm looking forward to the next season in view of the twist in the tail.

Where did the snow come from?

So the lawyer is shot and 1 hr later there is snow everywhere? What were they thinking shooting the scenes so far a paper that there is actual snow in the scene after the lawyer is shot? Just that alone bugs me!

Waiting for s06 was painful but I got the prescription I needed 😊

I couldn't be happier that my favorite crime drama is back for season 6 the writing, acting and directing is second to none, I only wish there were more episodes to enjoy 😊

So happy to see Shetland back! Gorgeous scenery and a great murder mystery to tuck into. And, our Toshie has a boyfriend, Lovely to see everyone again.

Dour

The dour drama returns and we are immediately ticking the PC boxes.

Originally this series was OK, but that was back in 2013. It has gradually degenerated into a very depressing drama full of dour characters and some atrocious acting.
