- Belle is engaged by a couple who married very young and have been together for twenty years. To celebrate their anniversary they want to have sex with another couple but the brash young man Belle hires to make up the numbers lets her down and does not show. So Ben fills the breach and, despite his obvious feelings for Belle, is quite professional. However,Belle draws the line at their giving a repeat performance.—don @ minifie-1
- Belle strolls down the street, talking about the complications of orgies. Such different work place struggles. She helps herself to an apple, without paying - the street vendor wouldn't complain.
Hannah yells at Ben, refusing to go along with his idea. He hasn't quite fully accepted her lifestyle yet, and would deal with it better if he could tag along. She needs a partner for her next gig. She has misgivings. He says she's forgetting that he knows how to have sex. She says it's not a good idea, because he's about to get married. But he feels he can keep his personal life out of the way. He wants to see what she does. She says she doesn't work with just anyone. He wants her to work with him. Exasperated, she stomps off.
She interviews prospective male escorts. They're not awesome. One is obviously too enamoured with his own prowess. Ben shows up, interviewing for the job. She quizzes him on it. It's a foursome, short a male partner. A couple getting a couple for an anniversary present. She'll take the husband, he gets the wife.
She suggests perhaps someone who's about to get married shouldn't be getting paid to have sex. He tries to convince her. He gives her the "let someone in" pitch, swears he can handle it.
They do some prep work, waxing his chest. He watches her elaborate preparation ritual, pestering her. He wants to know how much she made last year. 105,000 pounds. You could knock him over with a feather, he makes about only a third of that. But she has many expenses. Make-up, phone bills, booze, nibbles, mattresses.
She says she worked it out once, it costs her 20 grand a year to do what she does. For him, it's just a few quid. They're ready for the clients. He asks what he's supposed to do if he doesn't fancy the woman. Belle tells him she doesn't fancy half the men she sleeps with, but she sees it an adventure. (Only half?) She gives him some Viagra, standard practice for male escorts.
The couple arrives. They're 40ish, nicely dressed and nice looking. Ben offers to take their coats. The woman smokes, they're both nervous. They mention they've been together for 20 years. Ben and Belle say they've been together for eight. Talking about college education, Ben goes too far, pretends, and makes an embarrassing mistake by naming the wrong university, which remains hanging in the air. Belle leaves Ben alone with them to get drinks. Slight discomfort.
Belle wonders what their agenda is. She asks if they have any fantasies. The wife suggests the girls pair up.
The couple showers. Belle changes lingerie into something less hard core. Ben strips. He's ready to go, the Viagra kicked in gloriously. He shows off. She giggles.
The women put on a show. Ben is too rapt to think to join in. Belle calls him over. She joins the husband. Ben seems to be taking to the escort thing well. The husband enjoys watching his wife and joins in. Soon, Ben is out in the cold as the loving couple, whose marital spark only needed a little bit of rekindling, take over. Belle and Ben are left as clothed spectators. Ben and Belle nuzzle a little to sell it. He says, "Come on, Hannah." She corrects him, it's Belle. They stop.
Later, the couple dresses in the other room. Ben's disappointed, it's not what he thought. Belle says he should be happy, the couple got what they wanted. They shake hands and say good-night. Ben realizes his friend's job isn't just about sex.
She cleans up, pays him. "It's been an education," he tells her.
Belle, addressing the camera, says that group sex isn't all that complicated, except for logistics. It's one on one she hasn't quite figured out.
