Min
- [last lines]
- Barney: So long! Bye!
- Min: [the other kids leave, but before Min and Kathy can, they turn around, Barney has changed back into a doll, and the girls know what to do this time] It's your turn first, Kathy.
- Kathy: [she is the first to hold her purple friend] I love you, Barney.
- [kisses him]
- Min: [taking him too] Me too.
- [kisses him, and puts him down]
- Min: Come on.
- Kathy: Okay.
- [they finally leave, Barney winks to the camera, and the episode ends]
- Min: [holding the Barney doll] Hi, Kathy.
- [imitates him]
- Min: "Hi, Kathy."
- Kathy: Hello, Min. May I play with Barney for a while?
- Min: I'm not finished yet.
- Kathy: [starting to pull Barney away from her] You already had a turn. Now I want a turn. Give him to me!
- Min: [grabbing him back] No, Kathy, stop that!
- Barney: [changing into his tall self] Hi there! I feel like a rubber band that's been stretched! Why were you both pulling on me?
- Kathy: I wanted to play with you, but Min wouldn't let me.
- Barney: Aww.
- Min: It just wasn't your turn, so there.
- Barney: [upset for the girls' misbehavior] Aww, this isn't how friends should act, and I know you two are good friends. I think maybe you've just forgotten some things about sharing.
- Min: [after singing "London Bridge is Falling Down," she and others notice a lump underneath the parachute] Hey, what's that?
- Derek: Something's under the parachute!
- Shawn: Barney, is this your magic?
- Barney: You never can tell. Let's look and see. 1... 2... 3!
- [they lift off the parachute to encounter the lump in question, Barney's shy green friend]
- Baby Bop: Whee!
- Barney: Hi, Baby Bop!
- Baby Bop: It's me! Yeah, Baby Bop likes big blankey. All for me! Whee!
- [takes the parachute, thinking it's a "blankey"]
- Baby Bop: Big blankey is all for me!
- [she vanishes, taking the parachute with her]
- Derek: [unamused] Looks like we lost our parachute.
- Kathy: Baby Bop isn't very good at sharing.
- Barney: Well, sometimes when you're very young, like Baby Bop is, it's hard to share things or take turns. She'll learn when she gets older.
- Min: Barney, I know it's a good thing for kids to take turns. But will I still have to take turns when I'm a grown-up?
- Barney: [chuckles] Of course. Grown-ups have to take turns with lots of things.
- Min: What kind of things?
- Derek: I know. If I were building a house with other people, we'd have to take turns using the tools.
- [pretends to make holes with a drill]
- Kathy: And if I were a firefighter, I'd take turns spraying the water so I wouldn't get too tired.
- [pretends to spray with a fire hose]
- Shawn: And if I was a train engineer, I would take turns blowing the whistle. Woo-woo!
- Barney: But who would you take turns with?
- Shawn: With everyone who wanted to. It's really fun. Try it.
- Barney: Okay. Woo-woo!
- Min: [waking up after everyone sings "Five in a Bed"] Okay. I guess I was just dreaming that I wouldn't have to share anymore.
- Barney: Oh, I don't think that would be a very good dream. Sometimes, you just *need* to share because you've got some friends to play with, and it's nice to have friends.
- [everyone else agrees]
- Barney: [after he and the kids sing "Michael Finnegan'] That was lots of fun, and all of you did a really good job of sharing. There was just one beard, so you had to take turns to share it. But how would you share... say... a cake?
- Derek: I'd cut a piece for each of my friends.
- Barney: [giggles] That would be good. And how would you share a book?
- Min: You could take turns, or you could read it out loud so everyone can hear.
- Barney: Oh, story time for friends. I like that idea! And how would you share... oh, a great big cookie jar full of super-Dee-duper yummy cookies!
- Min: Barney!
- Kathy: I'd have a cookie party for all my friends.
