Mason comes up with a plan to get to know the new building super (Jennifer) a little better. Guy and Ashleigh are unimpressed. Mason is undaunted, but his plan is put in jeopardy when he learns that his former agent (Kate) has lost his life savings. Mason is forced out of retirement and into a new career as a jingle writer.

After Jennifer fixes the heater, Mason's apartment becomes unbearably hot. Kate uses the opportunity to get some exercise while Guy and Ashleigh borrow some cash.
