  • Joanna Angel is a highly successful pornographer, with plenty of fans and a lengthy career both in front of and behind the camera. I have always found her work unsatisfying and amateurish (porn's equivalent to Troma crap), but working for Missa X apparently encouraged her to pull her socks up and deliver a solid romantic drama "Neon Moonlight". It's good enough, and minus the silliness and "tattoos everywhere" self-indulgence of an Angel show, that in a blindfold test I would never guess she had directed it.

In Part 1 we are introduced to Alexis (brunette here) Fawx's unhappy marriage to Quinton James and her secret job of working as a stripper. At work she gets bad advice from fellow ecdysiast Sarah Vandella, and takes a private session (nearly equivalent to prostitution) that cornily turns out to be her stepson Alex Jett. The inevitable incest scene is saved for Part 2.

Though Angel shares scripting credit with the newly busy Shawn Alff (whose scripts are popping up for Jacky St. James and others), this format is a remake of several solo Missa X videos where only the stripper appears, the stud being a disembodied dick shot with POV camera.

Fawx is always a delight, and the kid gets to strut his big dick in the sequel.
