This anime is not romantic.
Not harem.
Not ecchi.
Not heroic fantasy.
Not even the hero's journey!
Finally an anime where the main character is not OP, and is afraid of dying!
The characters felt real. There are hard choices, liars, betrayals, grudges, guilt, selfishness. People trying to survive while trying to be a decent human being.
The anime started out a bit boring and I never expected it to be so surprising and mature.
