The violence is graphic but the camera does not linger and there is a moralistic context, with clear boundaries between good and evil displayed, surrounding much of it, so it is more thought provoking though still disturbing.
Not for the some of squeamish women or victims of past violence.
The final scenes are very intense and dark, and the entire film has a very realistic feel to it, at times appearing as a documentary; serving as a reminder of the darker malpractices and violence occurring in inner city sink estates. Threatening undertones throughout the whole film.
