It was an enjoyable watch, the actors were great, and the creature design was good. Even if it was a bit "clumsy looking" in some CGI shots. The lead character did a really great job.
Conceptually it's really great, a weird one but really great. I think a bit more explanation of the story would have improved things. Even if some of the other more experienced characters just had theories to how things were working more. Like the father for example. It has some vibes of Lovecraft stuff I've seen, which actually I'm a really big fan of.
Overall I really loved this film, and it's more enjoyable than a lot of films I've seen lately.
