Once scene where the miners are allowed a shower. Nothing is shown, but it's obvious they're supposed to be naked. Only lasts for a few seconds.

At one point Kaiji purposely hits his head into a mirror. You can't see the wound, but there is blood coming from the top of his head throughout the scene.

One of the scenes focuses on Kaiji and the other miners buying beer.

Several scenes are intense, mostly from suspense. One scene has almost all the people in a group of ten die from falling off a balancing beam above a building. Their deaths are recorded live and we see the men watching are laughing as they fall. This is the only scene that has any death.
