Marvel Zombies: The Movie was actually created and released on MySpace in late 2007. There it was shared like wildfire, instantly becoming a viral hit before the Marvel legal team stepped in and had it taken down. Fans would have the last laugh though as it was instantly pirated and posted on so many sites, it proved impossible to track down and control.
The non permitted production was briefly interrupted by police in a North Hollywood alley. Co-directors 'Jim Ojala' and Scotty Fields were in their respective Zombie Spiderman and Zombie Hulk costumes. Afraid of being shut down, Ojala quickly spit out his gore soaked dentures and smoothed everything over with police before finishing his Mary Jane gut eating sequence.
Appeared as the number 1 "Best Video on the Internet" by cable channel G4's Attack of the Show! (2005) on 21 March 2008.
