  • One of the better collaborations by writer Maddy Barton and director Ricky Greenwood for Missa X's label, this 2-part drama provides an intriguing look at a prostitute, well-played by hot new MILF actress Kit Mercer, radically different from stereotypical depictions as bedraggled sex worker with or without "a heart of gold".

She's introduced as "Ruby" by Lexi Luna, with LL in a brief cameo as a brothel manager. Kit turns out to be a stepmother of (at least) two sons, who are drastically different characters, but both in love, and ultimately consummating faux incest, with mommy.

Director Greenwood bathes Kit's scenes in a rosy glow, with pink the dominant color scheme, as she is first dominated by older son Van (Nathan Bronson), who smugly takes advantage of her but is given his walking papers after his cum shot.

In Part 2, she's seen briefly cleaning up in the bathroom after sex with Van, the only scene lacking that rose-colored-glasses visual look, only to find that her next client Lucas is her younger stepson Ricky Spanish. He's tracked her down, with assistance from Van, and wants to reconcile with stepmom, who left him years ago without so much as a bye-your-leave.

The two sex scenes present faux incest in dramatically contrasting ways, both involving role-playing (of the "mommy" this and "mommy" that fashion) based on Van's meanness and Lucas's puppy-dog need to cuddle and be loved. Mercer is terrific throughout, displaying memorably adept deep-throat capability.

The open-ending is surprisingly moving, mixing a bittersweet quality with hope for the future, and avoiding the tired cliches of the faux incest gene.
