There are two timelines present. The main timeline takes place in roughly 9 ABY (After the Battle of Yavin) just after season 2 of the Mandalorian.

The flashback timeline starts during 4 ABY (during the events of Return of the Jedi).

This was shown in Return of the Jedi. A blinded Han Solo accidentally hits Boba Fett in his Jetpack, causing it to malfunction and take off. Boba, not expecting it, lost control, slammed in to the side of Jabba's sail barge and then was sent tumbling in to the Sarlacc pit.

Boba was born/created in the cloning facility on Kamino in 32 BBY (Before the Battle of Yavin which occured in the original Star Wars film). This was at the request of his father/donor Jango Fett, and Boba was 10 years old in "Attack of the Clones" which is 22 BBY. When Boba fell into (and subsequently escaped from) the Sarlacc pit in "Return of the Jedi" (4 ABY), he was around 36 (4 years After Battle of Yavin). The main story in this series takes place around 5 years after the Sarlacc incident and Boba's subsequent time with the Sandpeople (9 ABY) which would make Boba around 41 by the time he takes over Jabba's old palace and empire. Temuera Morrison was around 60 while playing the role. In-universe this might be explained by the acid burns he suffered in the Sarlacc pit, making him look older than he is.

As of now, this was only intended to be a miniseries. However, Boba Fett and his gang will likely appear in other stories to come.

As of now, no. It has not been released or announced to be on blu-ray. But given that Disney has been slowly releasing their streaming shows on blu-ray two at a time, it's likely that a blu-ray announcement will come in the near future.
