Gonzalo decides to settle in Seville with the whole family to leave Margarita's memories behind. Meanwhile, Malasangre discovers that Gonzalo is Rey's son and will try to get this news to him when he has already left the town.
Uncle Emilio arrives unexpectedly after spending many years in prison. He comes with the desire to make up for lost time with his family and Gonzalo will welcome him under his roof.
Gonzalo refuses to accept the proposal for him to run as heir to the throne. Sátur has been kidnapped. The Marchioness considers it appropriate to lock the Commissioner up in an insane asylum for his crazy behavior.
