Regina King just doesn't have the energy in my opinion, she tries but it feels like a hit or miss. Overall I don't have much to say but it's just a below average SNL episode.

Not a bad episode in the slightest, there were some good ones like the elbow skit or the gorilla glue skit. I enjoyed it, and Regina King is very good!
  • What a bad episode. The workout one was the only somewhat funny one. Regina actually did better then I expected but it's clear she's out of her element. Weekend Update was meh, some good but a lot of missed opportunities. Overall a bad episode

Usually we skip to music and weekend update, the rest of the show is usually trash. This week the whole show was awful.

NBC needs to clean house, from Lorne Michaels on down. Some performers are good, like Kate McKinnon, Kenan Thompson, and Cecily Strong. The writers are just phoning it in this season. Horribly overlong and unfunny skits, especially the ones that deal with suburban imbeciles sitting around living rooms talking about nonsense. Previous SNL writing teams did this far better.

    I'm done. Lorne, please retire.

The bit after the news may have been the worst one I have ever seen on SNL. The only reason this gets a four is the peletaunt commercial.

Put them out of their misery. There cannot possibly be anyone who looks at this and is proud of the work they are doing.

Note to NBC ... GET WRITERS or stop doing this being steaming pile of ...ennui.

Regina King may be an Oscar Winning Actress. She may also be Black and Female - but she CANNOT do comedy. There are black women who are funny- Regina King is so not 9ne of those. One of those annoying infomercials from "The Mypillow Guy" had more comedic moments. This episode was so bad, it made my teeth hurt.

NBC and has apparently forgotten that Saturday Night Live is supposed to be Entertaining and supposed to be a comedy.

This season the show has been stale and tired and consistently not funny. The entire team of alleged "writers" needs to be terminated and replaced with people who can actually understand how to write comedy.
  • It was a full-on white-hating episode, that's for darn sure.

If the same amount of "humor" was directed at the black community, they would be going berserk and shouting that SNL should be ashamed of themselves. Whites have become a convenient target for cheap, mean-spirited humor these days.
