Nice and romantic webseries. I wish it had more romantic scenes.
  • The series was excellent. Great plot, great performances, and dealt with all the subjects in a very mature way. Only thing, it could have had a better end.

The climax felt like the writers could not come up with a good end so gave that abrupt and unjustified ending. Otherwise, the series is great to watch. All the conversations are also written very well. And kudos to the music of the show - very soulful!

Though it his story but you fall in love with her, Sakshi is brilliant in the series I just fell in love with her, both actors are good and loved the overall story, waiting for the next season, please don't replace anyone all are fab including kids 😍
  • Excellent movie...just loved it..n d music is awesome 😘heart..touching...😘😍😍
  • This is the best series about same sex issue. Kudos to altbalaji for a wonderful screenplay direction songs characters and dialogues. Each character was complete and convincing, except the kids in few shots. Special mention to Priyamani! Wow you were simply amazing and overshadowed each character whenever you were there! Absolutely stand out performance.

In all it was well composed and well written series which keeps you interested through out the 11 episodes. The only setback are the kids in the initial plhase whoch doesn't look convincing. Do watch it.
  • A good family tragedy drama. Kunal-Sakshi best. All the others also did well.

Nice one time watch...Tried with new subject , emotional breakdown in family with kids and all subjected very well..would like 2 watch next season also..sakshi's character very well written..preet's screen time was very less...
  • I feel like it wasn't well put together the way the married woman was. No offense but the loopholes were very clear. They should've worked on the plot a bit.
  • Hats off to ATLbalaji for making this but it seems like a fantasy!

The plot was new and unique but involving kids ruined the whole series

The series started on a matured front and would had continued in that way but they involved kids/teens with their problems like affairs, trolling, fights, sex,etc which was not all needed..when the story was of extramarital affair it should had continued in a same rhythm

The direction was good and took the series in a slow way ..good edits was needed as the same topic was moving round and round and ended the series in 11 episodes..priyamani played a good role in support with Nikhil and created good intense on the screen

Again this is a alt balaji venture so they have blind followers which will flood the reviews in 10/10

It's up to you whether to accept the high class lifestyle and their problems.

I can't understand those who votes with 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, even 7 If a series like "His Storyy" which is amazing series and that's took it a lot of effort and time from the whole team they vote with 1, what other series would they like to put 10.
  • Story of relationships with pragmatic view & no hyping of concerned subject. Beautiful portrayal of characters with promising acting. Loved how they keep it close to reality of Person's Life.

I bet u will love it. Must Watch #YeDilKyuNaKehSaka💙💙
  • I chanced upon His Storyy a web series on Zee5 in orig. Hindi w/Eng.subs .. the subtitles dont work most of the time, but leave that aside for now as also the irritating extra 'y' in the title.

The narration is of a happily married succesful couple (Satyadeep Mishra as Kunal, Priyamani his chef wife Sakshi) with two kids (Nitin Bhatia as teenager Shivi, Mikhail Gandhi as the younger brother Shlok). Everything is going well, they're launching their new fine dining restaurant and Sakshi has invited the dashing Preet (Mrinal Dutt) a food influencer , hoping for a favourable write up. Their marriage goes for a toss as Kunal and Preet meet again after several years and carry forward their intense relationship with one another. How this affects each person involved and various sub plots dealing with societal prejudices, hatred for the 'other' and so forth, are sensitively portrayed in a fairly realistic manner except that reality tends to be a lot worse especially where the hatred part is concerned. Sakshi and Kunal get divorced but the strong family bond remains as they accept each other for who they are. Kunal moves in with Preet. Shivi has become a typical toxic male teen who hates gays and can not accept his father's orientation. He organises a brutal attack on Preet, which Preet forgives as he does not want to hurt Kunal. Kunal and Preet are to get married and Sakshi is hosting the engagement party. But at the very last moment Preet tells Sakshi that he can not get into a marriage, and she must inform Kunal. Season 1 ends on this dramatic note, and hopefully there will be a sequel to carry forward this sensitively portrayed story.

His Story is fictional but there are several such cases where due to society and family pressure, LGBT men and women enter conventional heterosexual marriages with unaware partners and live a life of pretense. In this case Kunal was in a seemingly happy marriage for several years until it all just fell apart as he accepted his true orientation. The issues are depicted in a fairly real, poignant and sensitive manner. It can be far more brutal in reality.

The music was annoying, other than that His Story(y) is a well made and engrossing production.

Very cheap concept, good families should avoid such type of media concept.
  • I am a straight guy and it's a real review and not like these fake reviews what you can see here . The plot was below average but gave a good message and the ending was lame but yes it showed how stupid our society thinking is.
  • Anwar Says : A respite from the Crime based web series and movies when I started watching this Zee5/ ALTBalaji release, which approaches love and sexuality with sensitivity.

My full credits to the creator Baljit Singh Chaddha first who dared to take up such a bold subject even in 2021. Next to the director Prashant Bhagia who handled the subject of homosexuality so well that you would develop empathy for the three characters Sakshi, Kunal and Preet .

And of course superb acting by the two leads Satyadip Misra and Priyamani Raj ably supported by their two sons , having contradictory views , Nitin Bhatia and Mikail Gandhi .

Can you ever think of a woman, after twenty years of her marriage, comes to know that her husband is a gay and handles the situation so well to the extent that she organised the Engagement Ceremony of the two after few months.

Such tight and tense situations were so beautifully handled by the director Bhagia and equally well portrayed by Mishra and Raj . The chemistry between Kunal and Preet is terrific. All the supporting cast have given an honest performance and mingle with the storyline.

11 episodes story could have been shortened to 8 , still you would flow with the way it has been told . Background score and the two songs hit you throughout.

When you would finish the 11th episode, then only you would realise, why the LGBTQ community decide to live in a closet despite the law has been passed.

    #ZEE5 #ALTBalaji #anwarsays #lgbtqcommunity #lgbtqpride #tvshow #webseries #webshow.

Bad series bad story. It basically says it's okay to spoil someone's life and it's okay to be liar. We have to be open minded but not being responsible for our actions this just teaches irresponsibility. Bad influence. She said it very nicely its his incompetence his life his fears to have wasted her 20 yrs of life. He has no right there should be a punishment. Ending is so bad everyone is all Normal. This series teaches all the wrong things. How this affects poor kids without proper support just to shatter their lives. The guy has no right because he can't be truthful to himself he lives a lie includes his wife kids into it. If not for him she could have had a chance at real love at happiness her whole life is a lie waste because he wasn't Truthful. And it's okay Bad influence.

This brings the storm in the life of Sakshi, Her kids, Married life, and her personal life everything is on the verge of end. How would she manage all this?
  • gorpinycha4 May 2021
Rajiv Kumar as the omniscient guy, Nihal as a nice man shows the perspective of individuals who do not support the LGBTQIA community.

The best thing about the series is the amazing star cast, the three main lead actors from the series were just amazing, Priyamani is mindblowing and she is killing it throughout the series, the way she shows her emotions, her dialogue delivery, everything was superb.
  • This is an amazing and awesome love story of two closeted men fall in love with each other. I would recommend everyone to watch it for sure.
