  • Obviously the predictable climax lets down the movie completely which can be presumed after few minutes of the movie , lag and average perfomance doesn't make the viewers intruged .The essence of the thriller movies are its climax but how can a viewer be engaged when they realise the climax from the begining of the movie itself thats the main crux.

The color gradients of the movie was lousy and such a awful screenplay , it could have been much better with a strong script

Positive : fight scene between asif and nimisha *Asif ali's acting in some of the scenes * few scenes of making can be appreciated

Rather It was sluggish and not at all rousing

Rating : 5/10 average as it released in ott.

A brilliant thriller which is engaging right from the start to the end. You won't be disappointed even taking ticket for this movie and watch it in theaters. Bobby-Sanjay brilliance (which was missing in some of their recent films) is visible in this movie. It is scary how technology can be misused to make your life upside down; Won't be surprised if one delete all his/hers voice messages from their phone after watching this movie. Must watch.
  • Warning: Spoilers
There is reason why script is considered as the backbone of a movie and hense proved .

The movie have build a good 1st act it has successfully built mistery up to a certain point even though it's questions our logic but it collapsed towards the end . The emphasis on the scary aspect of modern day tech is the best aspect of this movie and it's technically decent tho.

Is it so easy to abduct some one ? Thets only question left in my mind.
  • It's a pretty decent thriller, suspense is easily predictable, but worth watching. Asif ali is the best in the movie , must say his solo performance saved the movie, bobby sanjay writing is good not great. I always had this doubt about anthony aka Pepe how good is he out of his zone and got that answer in this movie he's just an average outside the typical characters he plays, still a watchable thriller.
  • Jis Joy is a director who has come under a lot of flak and ridicule in recent times for his insistence on portraying only the goodness in people in his preachy, feel-good earlier films like "Vijay Superum Pournamiyum (2019)" and "Mohan Kumar Fans (2021). It was a pleasant surprise when he announced his first foray into the thriller genre and with a star-studded cast including Asif Ali, Antony Varghese and Nimisha Sajayan, audiences had hopes that this project would be a turnaround for the director who gave us gems like "Bicycle Thieves (2013)" and "Sunday Holiday (2017)", at the beginning of his career.

But alas, "Innale Vare" is engaging only in parts and comes across as disjointed and contrived in large portions, failing to keep the audience invested in any of its three lead actors. That they were played by three seasoned performers puts the blame squarely on the tepid direction and the unimaginative screenplay, who fail to do justice to a good story idea fashioned by accomplished writers Bobby & Sanjay. The pace of the film is uneven, slowing down inexplicably in insignificant portions and racing through several clutch sequences while the thrills are too few and far between.

The story follows the journey of "Adhi" (Asif Ali), a struggling film hero who becomes involved in a extortion racket perpetrated by two mysterious strangers. While Asif predictably, makes the best out of the sub-par screenplay, Nimisha Sajayan shines in a role very different to what we have seen her portray on screen. Antony Varghese however, gets dealt a bad hand, with an underwritten and barely-there character that doesn't utilize the caliber of the actor at any point. Rony David and Irshad are reliably efficient in their supporting roles while Reba Monica John puts in a mature performance.

While the director's attempt to stray away from his core genre and experiment with an unconventional storyline is commendable, the execution was clearly lacking in this one. It is hard to see a very capable actor like Asif Ali deliver yet another sub-par film after a string of misadventures like "Ellam Sheriyakum (2021)", "Kunjeldho (2021)" and "Kuttavum Shikshayum (2022)" . Hopefully, his upcoming projects like "Mahaveeryar" and "Kotth" brings back the charming performer we have all grown to know and love. Watch "Innale Vare" at your own risk!
  • Asaf Ali is a former superstar, now financially struggling actor Adhi. Adhi is seriously in debt and the loan sharks are after him. A peculiar couple Shani (Nimisha Sajayan) whose father's house is about to be taken over by the bank, and her hacker boyfriend (Antony Verghese) hatch a seemingly ingenious plot and kidnap Adhi, believing that he is loaded and they can extract the funds required to release Shani's house from the bank.

The narration follows on. Adhi's growing fear and desperation as he realises the situation he is in are convincingly portrayed. All the characters are well enacted. The film is engrossing but drags in several scenes which are easily fast forwardable. Dont know why they have to make such long movies these days.

    Very watchable.
  • Director Jis Joy switches genres (from feel-good to thriller) and color tones (from bright to desaturated) to zilch effect in his latest film - Innale Vare - starring Asif Ali, Nimisha Sajayan, and Antony Varghese in the lead roles. This is the kind of thriller that even an undiscerning viewer can wholly regard as predictable, with the only thrilling scene being a crisply shot fight sequence between Asif and Nimisha. The storyline belongs to the early 2010s thriller era in Malayalam (that featured badly conceived efforts such as Race, Thank You, Seconds, Up & Down, and more) with every twist seen coming twelve miles away. The performances (save for Asif) are either bland or over-the-top. On the bright side, there aren't any songs to further establish the characters or their relationships.
  • Whats wrong with the viewers..they promote sh,... ,T movies and helps it make 100 and 200 crores..they only need their favourite actor like mamooty or mohanlal to be on screen and do illogical things, like fighting 100 villians bare handed..this movie got me exited and was intriguing..this is underrated as F...Asif ali is so underrated...This movie deserves better.. Awesome making and everything..just watch it blindly...its like 7.5/10 gave 10 stars only to balance the rating...a good thriller movie of jis joy after bycycle thieves i guess...only thing I did not like was asif alis character was bit rude at the end...he should have changed...
  • Really enjoyed the movie, acting and story. Not one of Sanjay Bobby's best script but not bad too. The movie goes along well but felt it drag in between. One time watch.
  • A below average movie in all perspective. The performance of the actors along with the dialogue delivery felt really unnatural but still there were some good moments. The technical side of the film was also a disappointment the movie could have been much more interesting.

I really wasted my time on this.
  • Malayalam industry has been making big strides in the thriller genres and this one is right up there.

A very engaging story with everyone giving their best performances.dont want to drop any spoilers but recommend this movie strongly.
  • Warning: Spoilers
It felt like they were struggling to present everything in a believable manner. For example the scene where Asif Ali's character uses pattern to unlock the phone instead of fingerprint. Like who uses pattern lock these days? Felt too convenient.
  • Innale Vare ( Until Yesterday ) starring Asif Ali, Nimisha Sajayan Anthony Verghese in lead role

Directed by Jis Joy... Written by Boby Sanjay..

    Released on Sony Liv platform

Verdict of the movie: Disaster... 1/5 ⭐

Plot of the movie: Asif Ali playing the role of a cine artist Adhi Shankar. The story begins by portraying his life as the lowest point... Films getting unsuccessful thereby resulting in debts...

One night he is being trapped by 2 strangers & how he finds a way to escape forms the rest part of the movie...

    Analysis of the movie....

    1) A revenge plot was executed but not properly executed....

    2) Predictable story line after watching it for sometime...

    3) Predictable climax....

    4) Asif ali was good but Nimisha Sajayan and Anthony Verghese although good artists didn't come up as per the expectations

    5) Boby Sanjay worst story telling...

    6) Jis Joy the director tried something different but failed miserably....

Overall a story which shouldn't have made a movie at all being made...
  • This film relates to audience on a personal level. The struggles faced by hero are highly relatable. The movie does not let you distract even for a second. Overall it's a good movie climax could have been better. Please go watch this movie 👍

It is quite a -decent thriller movie. Even though the climax is predictable, the movie is full of suspense, twists and turns which make the audience sit and watch the entire movie in one stretch. Most actors have done their part pretty well. The audience won't feel any lagging while watching. I think this is a small budget underrated movie. The truth is ,the movie is better than some- big budget -big star movies. The movie could have been better recieved,if there was some slight variations made in the script. The movie just make the audience think about how a person can misuse someone else's cellphone.

This is one of Asif Ali's best movie. A movie which involves modern technology did more than what was expected. Credit to bobby and Sanjay for writing a story that uses technology to perfection. The charecters did a wonderful job. I felt the movie was worth releasing in theatres. Nimisha sajayan keeps improving as an actress with every role she is given. The message given out is how safe is your social media accounts especially if you are a known person. Also how fraudulent activities can take place misusing your social media accounts. Felt a bit lag on the kidnapping scenes , otherwise it's a perfect thriller to watch .
  • Jis Joy has attempted a dark-genre flick for the first time and despite his prowess, can't save the film from being a mess in the end. With his usual hero Asif Ali in the lead, Jis also collaborates freshly with Nimisha Sajayan and Antony Varghese, two of the most promising youth actors in Mollywood. All of the actor performances in the film are commendable but what falters is the screenplay. The film that lacks songs has a thrilling soundtrack by 4Musics and suitable cinematography by Bahul Ramesh. While the first half proved to be an edge-of-the-seat experience, the second half seemed needlessly drawn and makes you wonder how it will end. A surprise (intended) reveal in the climax didn't help either. This is also a film where you find politically incorrect behaviour from all the leads (irrespective of gender) so it is, basically, a fight between "evil and evil" (similar to what the protagonist in Lucifer (2019) labels in a scene).

    Streams on SonyLIV. One-time watchable.
  • 'Innale Vare' is fantastic, I was expecting it to be good, but actually much more nerve breaking than I had anticipated. The lead and other characters are strong/ well casted. It has its right pinch of twists and great actions.

The story is superb, with each high stake coming across in unpredictable moments. Aside from the adrenaline pumping edge, this story also had a heart.

The directing by Jis Joy was outstanding, especially considering him a king of feel good films in the recent film makers Era. The stunts, visuals were breath taking. Asif, Nimisha, Irshad, Rony and Reba you guys nailed each ones character.

Go watch for those who haven't watched it's in Sonyliv.... I vouch.

The movie has a decent story, very predictable with a good cast. It has its moments but it's somehow too much of a fantasy sort of a movie. Just out of nowhere things happen. As the title goes was happy 'Innale Vare' with the trailer but after watching the movie disappointed!

I didn't expect this kind of a film from the Director Of 'Sunday Holiday'. It was super engaging to watch the thriller directed by Jis Joy. The story of the film is very promising.
  • There's only one moment when things are thrilling. Nimisha's and Asif's fight. That's the only part where the movie could make the viewer guessing who's gonna win. You'll know why and who's doing the things which are happening few minutes into the movie. Bobby - sanjay should seriously do an introspection and comeback with something worthy of the audience's time and money. Nice to see Jis Joy trying something out of his comfort zone but he's pretty much a mediocre director.
  • Badly made with horrible camera visuals and unbelievable story. Better avoid. Expected a much better movie from Jis Joy.. All shots are in dark eventhough day shoot are there.
  • Rather than depicting the crime or killer in this film deals with the survival of protagonist along with other two leads. The protagonist Adhi Shankar a successful film star but struggles now in his career encounters an attack from two IT proffessionals with a clear vision. There comes the freshness in the story that's technology. The antagonists traps the Adhi Shankar with the help of voice synchronization using his mobile phones and a fairytale software. There comes the thriller gripping and it takes as to the climax for find the motives of the antagonists for their does.

    Warning: Spoilers
Don't watch the movie, worst in the industry. I never see any movie as this much worst. The character of the people described is non sense. How come any one can cheat directly. I don't why they made this much cheap movie.

The director is breathtaking, and the cast is outstanding with Interesting end.

I also found interesting the depiction of manipulation of social perceptions. The direction is brilliant and there's never a dull moment. In fact time flies by while this intelligently crafted movie keeps you in its grip.
