  • Dark Envoy is set in a fantasy universe where magic clashes with technology and a human empire is slowly overtaking the Old Races. The protagonists Kaela and Cyrus embark on an adventure, repairing their family's airship to embark on a journey through dangerous lands.

The story is non-linear and many aspects depend on our choices. Which characters will join the siblings, whether the siblings will survive, whether they will become legendary heroes or infamous villains will all be shaped by our decisions.

Dark Envoy uses a top-down perspective, but the camera can be moved and rotated. The world is divided into regions that can be traveled in the airship that serves as our headquarters. There are numerous main missions, side quests and events to play. The places visited, including the dungeons created, change over time or as a result of our choices.

We will face numerous enemies that are fought in real time with an active pause. To succeed, we must think tactically and make good use of our party members' abilities. Advancing in the game allows us to level up our characters. There are fifteen classes we can control, but skills are scattered across different skill trees, providing variety.

Dark Envoy is built around the story campaign, which can be played alone or two-player online. The game also includes an additional PvP mode that allows us to pit our party against other players' parties. The game offers close to 30 hours of gameplay.
