Jennifer Hudson Surprises Whitney Houston at 2010 Bet Honors
"American Idol" alum Jennifer Hudson has saluted her idol Whitney Houston at the 3rd Annual Bet Honors by taking the stage and singing a song for the 46-year-old legendary songstress. On Saturday, January 16, the 28-year-old singer sang her rendition of Houston's song "I Will Always Love You".

The "Dreamgirls" actress' performance wasn't the only salutation the star of "The Bodyguard" received that night. Prior to Hudson's performance, gospel singer Kim Burrell sang "I Believe In You and Me" to Houston. Both performances received standing ovation from the audience as well as Whitney Houston herself. After the stunning performances, R 'n' B singer Ne-Yo presented Houston with the Bet Honor for Entertainment.

The Bet Honors celebration was taped at Warner Theatre in Washington D.C. and will be aired at 9 P.M. on Monday, February 1. The 2010 honorees included actress Queen Latifah, rapper Sean "P. Diddy" Combs, accomplished educator Dr. Ruth Simmons and world-neurosurgeon Dr.
