The first episode was pretty bland. It established the fact that he made it but forgot to show us why we should care. And no, discovering that you aren't as big as you once believed isn't a strong enough motivation when in the first season there was a focus on family dynamics (pretty weak focus) I am left wanting more from this show. All it seems to want to do is erase the past and turn this man into a stoic brute that lifts his ass into the air for everyone to see. Family can provide context because that's where we all come from. Where we develop and grow, around certain ideals and expectations. They used his wife and kids in that same way in season 1. This season could have dealt with his parents and family as a whole. How his kids, wife, mother, uncles, grandfathers, ancestors might feel about his actions. What is he fighting at this point? We don't live in the 90s anymore and so simply having people scoff at your voyeurism isn't enough. But family would provide an interesting pressure point and context that is missing all throughout this episode, beyond the one guy who claims that this is indecent or bad cuz naked people. Family accomplishes two goals societal, familial and his perspective on all of it.
Family was the answer all along from the first to second season.
