Here is part 2 of the Gonzaga 2021 MLB First-Year Players Draft series, this time we talk with shortstop Ernie Yake. Yake was drafted by the Minnesota Twins in the 10th round of the 2021 MLB First-Year Players Draft. Yake, a Brooks Wallace semifinalist (given to the nation's best shortstop) hit .333 with 38 runs, 29 RBIs during his junior season. He was also draft-eligible in 2020 but the draft was shortened to 5 rounds due to Covid-19.—Off Stage Team
