This movie is very intense and suspenseful as there are lots of moments where Somali Pirates hold men at gunpoint yelling at them that they are going to kill them.
Every scene that takes place in the lifeboat is very claustrophobic.
Three of the four Somali pirates are extremely menacing as they are constantly waving their AK-47s around and screaming at people.
The entire movie is very intense after the first 20 minutes or so. The main character is under constant threat, as are dozens of other supporting characters.
Pirates fire machine guns at several people at different points in the movie.
The final 30 minutes of the movie are incredibly intense and features some fairly strong violence. The ending may also be emotionally intense for some people.
