Wolverine embarks on an adventure

In a world where mutants are rare and hunted, Logan (Wolverine) is part of Team X-an elite black ops unit led by Nathaniel Essex. When Essex is kidnapped by Trask Industries, Logan, Mystique, and Sabretooth launch a rescue mission, uncovering Trask's horrific experiments on mutants. Their success comes at a cost-Logan faces Arkady, a monstrous mercenary with life-draining abilities.

After their escape, Essex reveals a hidden mutant sanctuary in Vancouver. Logan and Jean Grey cross paths while trying to protect the city's mutants from Trask's forces, forming an uneasy alliance. Their investigation leads them to Tokyo, where they battle The Hand, an ancient organization using the Helix Engine to steal mutant powers. Logan is mortally wounded but is saved by Essex, who secretly reveals his deeper knowledge of Logan's past.

Back in Madripoor, Essex's true agenda is exposed-he's using the Helix Engine to activate mutants worldwide, regardless of the human cost. Betrayed by Essex, Logan fights his enhanced brother-figure Sabretooth before facing an even greater threat: the release of the Helix Sentinels, which devastate major cities.

As Logan and Jean fight to stop Essex, he reveals a terrifying truth-Apocalypse, an ancient mutant overlord, is destined to return, and his experiments were meant to prepare mutants for the coming war. Logan refuses to let Essex decide the future and kills him, but at a heavy price. Mutants are now exposed to the world, and an era of fear and persecution begins.

Haunted by Essex's warning, Logan embarks on a global quest for answers, ending in Egypt, where he meets a young mutant, Storm. Meanwhile, Jean Grey takes refuge in Logan's abandoned cabin, realizing that mutants need more than just survival-they need a home, a school, and a future.
