The company named YYZ is a reference to the song of the same name by Canadian band Rush which, in turn, is referencing the IATA code for Toronto Pearson International Airport. Krieger has always been an avid Rush fan, even though he has stopped calling his vans after Rush albums like in the early seasons. He used to try mastering the fiendishly difficult drum part of the song without much success.
