The TV listing for this edition received a negative write-up in The Daily Mirror (16th October 1992). Tony Pratt wrote: "Terry's working harder than ever on his little-boy-lost look. It's time, though, that he stopped pleading for help, took control, and banned the plugs."
This edition did not make the Top 100 most-watched programmes that week. The 100th rated show was a Channel 4 screening of Hey, Look Me Over (1991), which was watched by 4.4 million viewers.
