  • There is a 14 year old girl named Hayley and her best buddy Scott. A scientist comes from the future and tells them they have to do everything on Younger Hayley's wishlist in order to save the world from an apocolyptic future. From participating in taco contest, or riding every ride at the county fair. They are givin a cute little robot named Beta. He is the sassy mascot charater. They try to make the most of every day similar to a certian pair of stepbrothers who have a pet playtapus who is a secret agent. Hayley is the incredibly smart, ambitious, yet shy one. Scott is the easygoing best friend, who can be ditzy at times. This show is very cute and the gags are funny. You should check it out. The art style is very cute. The characters have 5 fingers and almond shapped eyes.

If you like Phineas and Ferb you'll probably like this show. It's smart and musical at times. It's a great show for the whole family, too. The 12 and 20 year old both loved it in addition to the younger ones.

The show is fast paced, and the easy to consume. Each episode (except the first one) is actually two shows, like the old Looney Toons cartoons. You binge, or not, and it works both ways. Even though the stories are short they still feel completed. Short also means NO FILLER and I can really appreciate that.

The premise of the show leaves a lot of room for all kinds of stories, too. There is a "to do" list of things that have to happen, so anything it possible and the show should be able to stay fresh. I am excited for what they can do.
  • If you enjoy shows like gumball or Phinias and Ferb, this is the show for you. It has a story that plays a minor role, but this show is mainly just enjoyable for the comedy and music. Currently this show has 8 two-part episodes and there's only 3 episodes which I find bad: "the wild wild mess" "the flamingo must flamin-go" and " the splatter of the bands." All of the other episodes are great. Everybody I've shown this show to loves it. Everyone I've shown this show to loves it, and it's hard to believe that people don't really see the greatness. The only part I don't really like is the art style, but other people seem to like that so Go check it out! It's only 8 20 min episodes so you have nothing to lose.

It's fun and entertaining. I honestly haven't been into a cartoon in a long time, this one is enjoyable. You don't need indepth character play by play and backgrounds. Just jump into any episode and buckle up for some fun antics. It's a refreshing step away from the cringy, gate kept, cult culture cartoons we have been plagued with over the years. The writer's have set it up in a way that they can explore any adventure without being held back too much by previous episodes. It feels like how cartoons should be, used to be. Fast and flexible, if you wanted something serious and dreary look elsewhere.
  • I like the originality of the show and it's art style isn't too bad either. I also love the female voice actor. However...the pacing is a little quick. It's like by the second episode we've already jumped into things, we don't get a run down of the list, no real backstory..it's all just a little too fast. If it was slower it'd be way better imo.

Also ngl I don't like how the male character literally only has one personality: Hailey's crush and "not too smart". It's so one dimensional. I really hope they change that soon.

Other than that, it's an okay show. Not too bad for a 2023 Disney show.
  • Hailey's On It! Is an incredibly fun and entertaining animated comedy-adventure series that captivated me and is sure to captivate audiences of all ages. With its unique premise and engaging characters, this Disney production showcases creativity and humor in every episode.

From the very first scene, it's clear that Hailey's On It is a delightful series. The combination of risk-averse yet resourceful teenager Hailey (Aulii Cravalho) and her futuristic sidekick Beta (Gary Anthony Williams) create a dynamic duo that viewers will instantly connect with. The chemistry between the characters is charming, and their interactions provide a perfect balance of comedy and heart.

The series revolves around Hailey's mission to complete a list of challenging tasks, some of which may seem impractical but ultimately contribute to saving the world. While the overarching storyline is compelling, the show wisely balances it with episodic adventures that allow for individual character development and exploration. Each episode of Hailey's On It introduces a new item from Hailey's list, presenting unique challenges that require her problem-solving skills and resourcefulness. The plotlines are well-crafted, keeping viewers engaged and eager to see how Hailey and Beta navigate each task.

Hailey's On It is a family-friendly series that promotes positive social behavior. The characters treat each other with respect and support, and the show emphasizes the value of teamwork and problem-solving. Hailey's determination serves as positive examples for young viewers, encouraging them to embrace their own abilities and take on difficult tasks. The lead characters, Hailey and Beta, steal the show with their distinct personalities and relatable traits. Hailey's relatability lies in her risk-averse nature, which many viewers will find endearing and familiar. Beta, the AI from the future, adds a delightful futuristic touch to the series, providing both comedic relief and technological prowess. AI has recently become woven into all of our lives and it is great to see Disney jumping on the bandwagon so quickly. The animation in the show is top-notch, with vibrant colors, smooth movements, and detailed backgrounds. The visual aesthetic perfectly complements the adventurous tone of the show, creating an immersive viewing experience.

The underlying message of Hailey's On It centers on the importance of facing challenges head-on, even when they seem daunting.

I give Hailey's On It 5 out of 5 stars and recommend it for ages 5 to 12, plus adults. By Ashleigh C., KIDS FIRST!
  • The show is a lot of fun for both 7 year olds and 40 year olds. There's little exposition before jumping into a lot of revelation from the future, but that's all setup for fun independent episodes.

The animation style is good and the voice acting is great. I'm not sure the agenda behind the hate. My guess, people don't like the warning about climate change. It's barely part of the story, so if your politics get in the way, just pretend there is another reason for her to complete her to do list. Some of these reviews are preposterous. It's one cartoon I actually look forward to watching with my kids.

Had incredibly low expectations for this show at first, and I'm sure almost everyone else did too. This morning I decided ti sit through two full episodes of Hailey's on It, and it kept me very entertained! I was surprised that this show was actually good because I lowkey expected too kiddie humor and dialogue, or just awful jokes. I got the complete opposite and was greeted with a very well-made show that reminded me of early 2010s animation. Probably one of the most underrated modern Disney shows out there, and it's so worth a watch. Again, exceeded my expectations, and is actually a very high quality and amazing show!

Hailey's On It! Sounds good on paper: a girl adverse to trying new things must now do so to save the future. It could've been a great encouragement for children to get out there and experiment, get out of their comfort zones, experience all that life has to offer.

Instead, it's a nothingburger of a show. Hailey barely has any obstacles on completing her list items. Despite not wanting to do anything on her list, she's somehow GOOD at most of them right off the bat. The only thing that provides any challenge is when other people get involved, or the EXTREMELY sporadic appearance of Chaos Bots. You'd think if they wanted to keep Hailey from succeeding they'd have more of a presence, but no.

Speaking of other people, her best friend Scott is extremely annoying. He's supposed to be so stupid it's funny, but instead he's so stupid he's annoying. He brings nothing to the table, except to validate every insult Beta slings his way. How Hailey supposedly has a crush on him is the true mystery.

The idea is good and it had a lot of potential, but the execution makes it a truly nothing of a show. No challenge, no real pressing sense of stakes, and nothing remotely entertaining enough to keep viewers coming back for more.
  • Ok, after watching the first two episodes on TV, I had some problems with it. I really want to like this show, I do...

But the problem is the pacing.

The first episode and the second episode felt like it was too fast. I felt confused throughout it because at one point, they were at home setting everything up in like 2-3 min, and then the next they were saving a sea creature, and then they were riding rides.

Episode 2 didn't really explain what items on the list they were doing.

They don't explain how Beta became apart of the plush/teddy bear either.

I also didn't really like many of the jokes in the first two episodes. I hope the future episodes have the pacing fixed, because this isn't really it.
  • Warning: Spoilers
I already didn't have high hopes for Hailey's On It based of the trailer. It didn't look much better than the recent string of awful cartoons from the Mouse House's television division. That said, I wanted to give it a chance to see if maybe it's actually better than what its trailer lead me to believe. Unfortunately, that is not even close to the case. Rather than be a surprisingly funny show with creative visuals and lovable characters (you know, like Disney is usually known for?) Hailey's On It is the rare Disney project that fails at EVERYTHING! This cartoon is so bad that not even Walt Disney himself would want anything to do with it!

Created by David Bunje and Nick Stanton, this show is about a girl who must complete everything on here to-do list to save the world. Yes, I am for real. That sentence that sounds like it was hastily put together during the pitch is the actual premise of the show. If you think it's better in execution, THINK AGAIN! Right from the word go, this show has never even heard of the concept of "show, don't tell" because it is just a landfill of exposition. They explain EVERY single moment in the story from who the characters are, what happens in the future, even the explanation for a visual gag! WHO DOES THAT?! It's like the creators felt that if they didn't explain everything in the first episode, the audience will get confused. If that's the case, they're horrible at their jobs as storytellers because nobody gives a hoot about that stuff! It's also monumentally insulting to assume you're audience wouldn't be able to process visual storytelling like they're babies! Not only does this show fail at writing 101, but it's also not the least bit funny with the jokes being very predictable and, again, the gags being explained to the audience. A psychotic clown once said, "If you have to explain the joke, then there IS no joke!" I know not every pitch is gonna be a winner, but I feel sorry for every single pitch that was rejected over this!

In bad television, there are 2 types of bad characters you don't want to associate yourself with: an annoying chatterbox and a bumbling imbecile. Hailey Banks is BOTH! She constantly lies about kissing Scott, she broke into an aquarium to save a squid, she undermines Beta at every turn, and she's envious of Kristine. But the worst part about her is SHE NEVER SHUTS THE FLOP UP!!! Most of the exposition in this show comes from her because she can't remain silent for more than a nanosecond! She goes on and on about what her life is like, why she doesn't want to kiss Scott, why she doesn't like trying new things, why she doesn't like Kristine. Like, lady! SHUT THE FREAK UP!!! Shut up! Oh my GROP do I not care! No one else is even remotely likable. Scott is the annoying comic relief who Hailey's has feeling for (they fall in love, have drama and work it out by the end of the series. Been there, done that), Beta is an annoying robot that's often inconvenienced, and Kristine is yet another spoiled brat with a following. "bUt ShE's So NiCe" Bull fertilizer! The way she talks and acts around Hailey and Scott is clearly just a front so she can get what she wants. I don't buy for 1 second that she was honestly glad Hailey came back to the Zero Graviton. She just wanted another opportunity to humilate her for easy clout! But sure, she's an oh so precious little angel.

The voice acting isn't very good, to be honest. Auli'i Carvalho didn't sound nearly as enthusiastic or as emotionally resonate as Hailey as her more famous Disney role, Moana. Manny Jacinto wasn't very convincing as Scott as he wasn't funny and didn't sound very interesting. Gary Anthony Williams, try as he might, just can't make Beta sound like a funny or helpful A. I.. Amanda Leighton didn't sound right as Kristine as she was rather flat and didn't convey much emotion. The actors are certainly trying, but the script and vocal direction just aren't doing them any favors.

The animation is fine, though nothing we haven't seen done better in previous Disney shows. In collaboration with Rough Draft Studios and Saerom Animation, Disney produced a cartoon that, at least, has the appearance of a Disney cartoon. The characters have big expressive eyes, very unique and stylish clothes and distinct hair styles. It was also a nice touch to give Hailey a gap in her teeth. The character animation, though, is rather plane with the characters mostly staying on model, the mass of each character not being made clear and the body movements just being simple and easy to animate. The biggest problem with the animation is the direction as it's mostly just character being stationary while giving out boring exposition. The backgrounds are very well detailed and have a vibrant color pallet. The animation isn't bad, but Disney has had better character animation and better animation direction in their previous works.

It took them long enough, but Disney finally made a cartoon that's on par with Mars Needs Moms in terms of quality! The characters are annoying, the voice acting is stale, the humor doesn't exist, and the writing is boat loads of exposition dumped onto the audience. Sure the animation is fine, but by Disney standards it's not great and by my standards it's not nearly good enough to spare this show from the worst fate you can give to a piece of entertainment: to be ignored and forgotten! Do NOT watch Hailey's On It! Don't even bother looking at the trailer! There's a whole bunch of movies and TV shows on Disney+ you can watch that a much more worth your time than this animated abomination! -.-
