The Looney Tunes Show

1 review
5/10

Not excellent as what you think, but OK to watch

There was some goods about the show and there was some bads about the show. Starting off with the good things about the show, the jokes can be very funny at some point but some other times the jokes are very dull, the voice acting though was spot on to sound like how the characters sounded like before, Lola Bunny who was once before characterless and was meant to portray as a sex symbol (not in a Minerva Mink way) now gained a personality to fit well with the other Looney Tunes gang and not only to also mention she dresses modest, the new Merrie-Melodies music videos but some of them can be uncompetitive. Last of all on how the Looney tunes shorts were only about 7 minuets per short, this show has increased it's limit to 30 minuets.

Now for the bad, the show barely had much slapstick as what you see in the original cartoons, it also had the lack of the cartoon gags (as mentioned before that the jokes are sometimes funny but most of the gags are pretty lame), Jessica Borutski's character designs is very disgraceful to the Looney Tunes even for a reboot because it looks like that they were drawn in a hurry and Jessica didn't bother to take time and practice longer by getting the original designs spot on, mild personality changes such as Witch Hazel who is now named "Witch Lezah" who portrays as an ordinary African-American woman, Bugs Bunny as a straight-man, Elmer Fudd as some strange Grilled cheese addict, Lola Bunny only because the fact she's over-dramatic and talkative. Last of all is the format of the show itself how it's all about a sitcom styled format that consists the Looney Tunes living in a suburban neighborhood.

While the show is far better than it could have been, however, this reboot fails to offer a significant improvement over the original Looney Tunes cartoons.

Classics will always remain for the better.

For any other suggestions into future coming Looney Tunes series is to simply make all of the designs back to where they looked like before even for Space Jam's Lola Bunny design unless she dresses modesty and haves the personality she had in the show, create many more shorts and put them together in a 30 minuet cartoon, come up with good or classic gags and puns or even shenanigans, more slapstick, and bring back Witch Hazel's, Bugs Bunny's, Elmer Fudd's and Yosemite Sam's original personalities back and have the series format to be exactly like the original cartoons, something similar to Disney's House of Mouse and things will tend to get better and enjoyable in the Looney Tunes world.
