Allison Gilroy: My assistant mentioned that you have questions about your exit package.
Margaret Mckenna: Actually I want to take about Stephen Lawford,
Allison Gilroy: Lawford?
Margaret Mckenna: He is a patient who died at this hospital following a surgery.
Allison Gilroy: Oh, I'm sorry and what is your connection to that?
Margaret Mckenna: Maybe it would be just easier if I could just show you.
Allison Gilroy: Show me? Show me what?
[Margaret takes a letter out of her bag]
Margaret Mckenna: This is a letter that I wrote to the state medical board.
[Allison looks at the letter]
Allison Gilroy: You...
[Margaret injects Allison with a substance that makes her weak, she falls backwards into a chair]
Margaret Mckenna: I tried! I tried so hard to do it right this time!
[Margaret takes out a pair of white latex gloves and puts them on]
Margaret Mckenna: But you just wouldn't let it happen! I don't know why I'm so surprised, you're a lawyer after all.
Allison Gilroy: Please! Don't...
Margaret Mckenna: Do you see how hard it is to talk? Now maybe you can understand how difficult it was, for me to speak up!
[she takes some clamps out of her purse]
Margaret Mckenna: Now I told that medical board, I told them, that those infection rates were dangerously unacceptable! And I gave you a chance, I gave you Lawford! Well, now, I am going to show you what's it's like when you can't talk.

Margaret Mckenna: See? See how your mouth is open but it doesn't mean that anyone is actually listening to anything that you have to say, right?
[Margaret holds Allison's mouth open with clamps, and is about to clip her tongue, Allison gasps]
Margaret Mckenna: Now, I would leave it at that, that the tongue is the fastest healing organ in the body, did you know that? So if we were to stop now you would be up and about and in court in no time, and that's not what my patients deserve.
Sam Cooper: [Sam and his police team come busting through the door] Margaret, drop! Drop it!
Margaret Mckenna: No, this has to be done! She has to know what it's like to not be heard!
Sam Cooper: Hey! Everything you've done, was to tell us something, whoa, we're listening Margaret. But this, this isn't the way. this isn't what you want. All you've done, you're still a nurse, and you swore an oath to take care of people. And this woman right here, she needs you're help. you can save her. you're the only one. who can save her right now. The only one.
[Margaret takes the tongue clipper off Allison and undoes the clamps in her mouth]
Margaret Mckenna: [to Allison] Shame on you.
[Margaret is handcuffed]
Sam's Assistant: We'll let the E.R. know.
Margaret Mckenna: Well you don't have to worry. She's not gonna die. No, I wanted this one to live, I wanted her to live just like this.
