Plot

A group of high school friends play a game called "Persona" at school. Nothing happens so they go to visit their friend Maki in the hospital. Soon after they are assailed by the undead and demons and they must find the reason their peaceful town is now under assault.—Aaron Gritsch

Set in 1996 in the town of Mikage-Cho, Hidehiko Uesugi gathers his friends (Naoya Toudou, Masao "Mark" Inaba, Kei Nanjo, Yuka Ayase, Eriko Kirishima, Yukino Mayuzumi) to play the "Persona" game in an empty classroom. Shortly after finishing the game, they encounter an apparition of a crying girl and four out of the seven are shocked unconscious. They all encounter a man by the name of "Philemon" and are granted the power of "Persona". After they all gather in the nurses office, they're instructed to go to the town hospital to get a checkup, where they instead decide to visit their ill friend "Maki Sonomura". She passes out and they're rushed out of the room, where a sudden earthquake hits and they're sealed out of entering by a wall where the door to the room used to be. They hear screams downstairs, and find a nurse being assaulted by the undead, and the mortally wounded butler of the Nanjo Group "Yamaoka". Due to the grave danger of the situation, the students all awaken to their Persona's during the battle with the undead and swiftly defeat them. They come to find out their entire town has been overrun with undead, and even demonic entities. They must use their newly awakened power to discover the source of these happenings and put a stop to it.—SomethingWithZ
