Huh. There's not a review written for this play either. To be honest, I'm not surprised. When I think of Tyler Perry's plays, this one is one of the most forgettable ones, even more than "Madea's Family Reunion." To be quite honest, I don't like this one as much. I find that a bit odd. It's another play tackling realistic characters and stories, it contains good comedy and drama, and it has some nice music. Why don't I like this one too much? I honestly cannot figure it out! It even have some of the same actors and actresses Tyler Perry has used in his plays before...As a matter of fact, about 2/3 or 3/4 of the performers in this play are people Tyler Perry has used before! You have David and Tamela Mann from a lot of the other stage plays; Christian Keyes from "Madea Goes to Jail;" Chandra Currelley from "Class Reunion," and "Diary of a Mad Black Woman: The Movie;" Ryan Gentles from "Family Reunion: the Movie" and "Madea Goes to Jail;" D'Atra Hicks from "Family Reunion" - and more! There are only 5 people in this video copy you won't see from another Tyler Perry production.

A lot of topics are tackled in this play. We have the mother raising her son by herself story, and the woman sleeping with a married man story...Actually, I take that back. Not only is the head nurse of the hospital in the play sleeping with the head doctor, but (1) she feels guilty about it because she is a Christian (the part where the doctor practically calls her a hypocrite is a brilliant scene from a dramatic standpoint), and (2)the doctor also manipulates her into staying in the relationship because of everything he's given her. The doctor's wife knows that he's committing adultery, but is more about his image than his immoral acts. She's even slept around herself; that's a story I haven't seen before. But also, health seems to be a big topic in this play as well. From warnings about sexual diseases to tips of how to take better care of your body, this play offers quite a bit of health tips.

This is another production I can't really speak into why I don't like it that much. Maybe it's not as well put together as the other ones. Maybe this one has too many story lines or messages. I don't know, but I'll let you know when I figure it out. I like it enough – again, there are some really good moments, like the situation with Brown and Cora, or when Cora sings "Step Aside" – but compared to his other plays, this one isn't really the best. I'd still say check it out, but if you're just like me then you might want to watch something like "Class Reunion" after you watched this, just to get a feel for a better Tyler Perry-brand quality. BOOYIKA!

D'atra Hicks is the worse in this play I almost didn't want to complete the movie because of her she was soooooo annoying. All that yelling and screaming and acting ridiculous what man wants to be bothered with that. Even when she sa g I was annoyed by her or should I say screeching and howling She made watching the play so unbearable and embarrassing. Especially when she was going after the handsome doctor there's no way he would have put up with that. Not saying that she's not a decent actor she's just super annoying, and he should never have her play a role where she's doing that kind of screaming and yelling.
