  • Warning: Spoilers
It's good to see Kid Icarus back after 19 years (25 in Japan because the 2nd game wasn't released there),and in such a good game on a system with tons of cash-ins (Mario Kart 7).Uprising is an essential game if you have a 3DS.

The plot starts out simple, and it is in the first 9 chapters: Medusa, the main villain of the series,is resurrected and Pit,the protagonist, has to save the world by taking her down with the help of the goddess of light, Palutena. Then, throughout the rest of the game, space pirates and aliens and forces of nature and a bug that steals souls all come in throughout the rest of the game, and it can get quite confusing, but I managed.

Now for the controls. This is quite a controversial issue, but let me put it this way: if you have a 3DS Stand, use it.It didn't come with the game for laughs. No, it came with the game so you could use it and make controlling the game more comfortable.

Lastly, the multiplayer.I suggest you have a very good weapon before you go into multiplayer because the other players will wreck you if you don't have a good weapon;I suggest using a Skyscraper Club.

This game has many other facets which are very important but there are too many for me to talk about all of them.Overall, this game gets a 9/10 :Very impressive! By the way, this game garnered 40/40 from Famitsu.
