In Singletown, couples are separated to live apart for a time in two different Singletown apartments. The participants are immediately confronted by the TV screen in the living room during the first episode, their "exes" in the other apartment can see who they are partying and dating. This results in many painful and emotional moments in both apartments during the TV moments. Especially because it can sometimes click nicely between the exes and their dates. But then again, 'gentle surgeons make stinking wounds'... nothing is as enlightening to a shaky relationship as a stay in Singletown. Could the break we already have in mind be a definitive break? Can my sweetheart resist the temptations of Singletown? Will my partner ever be the partner I envision? Is just a small selection of the many relationship issues that the participants in Singletown will (be forced to) find out.
