  • Jake and Amir is a show that will keep you laughing for days. The writing for the show is brilliant considering each episode is an average length of 2-5 minutes. Each episode will make you crave more, and after binge watching the 400+ episodes you'll get hooked on the overall goofiness and quirkiness that is shown in each episode. Some of the funniest moments from the show are completely improved by both characters, which is something that doesn't happen on a lot of current shows. In addition, Jake and Amir never let their comedy become stale because they switch things up every few episodes. They also have a lot of guest stars on their show like Rick Fox, Thomas Middleditch, and Ben Schwartz. It has also been announced that Jake and Amir is going to become a TV show on TBS which I am very excited for. Jake and Amir also have a hilarious podcast called "If I Were You" which you should check out. In conclusion, check out the show Jake and Amir, you wont regret it.

The randomness, silliness and absurdness of the show can make you laugh till you can't breath and die. Absolutely one of the masterpieces of CollegeHumor. Also the reason why I have the weirdest crush on Amir Blumenfeld. It's about two coworkers (whose names are Jake and Amir, obviously) and the mostly platonic friendship between them. Amir is a character who is kind of... mentally challenged, but he bears secret talents too. Jake, on the other hand, is really smart and cool, compared to Amir, but he is secretly VERY insecure. He is Amir's one and only person whom he can call a "best friend". You can see Jake doesn't seem to respond to Amir in the same way, but he actually cares about him -- deep inside.

I've watched Jake and Amir since I was in middle school and they've never failed to make me laugh or brighten up my day. I'm now a Patreon subscriber and listen religiously to their Podcast "If I Were You". These guys are so underrated. Their humor revolves around call backs, quick wit, and word play mainly, but that's not to say that's all they do. Jake plays a great straight man and has some funny lines. Amir is the silly wacky one, and plays stupid in the series but in reality is in large part, the brains behind the operation. They've got great chemistry together which is part of the reason why they've become so beloved by their fans. Hard to find a dynamic like theirs. They're kind of like a fine wine, or coffee, they're an acquired taste, but once you get into them, you're locked in. Thank you Jake and Amir for all the laughs over the years.
  • You need to watch this. I just need to write this review to complete my IMDB account and I went right to this series
