  • One of the rare movie sequels that made me laugh as much as the first one!

I found that the story was very well constructed, the sequel makes sense and we discover with envy the adventures of the protagonists. I wonder what can happen in the head of these characters: each alibi built is behind another situation that will worsen the basic one, causing a chain reaction that the hero cannot prevent!

The family, the complicated relations of the hero with his parents, the lies, the secrets, and the farcical situations are there !

An excellent movie from La Bande à Fifi, which manages to renew itself with brio !

    Bravo !
  • In the realm of comedies, Alibi.com 2 stands out as a refreshing gem, surpassing many of its American counterparts with its clever wit and absence of crude toilet humor. This French sequel, released in 2023, continues the story of Greg, now engaged to Flo, as he navigates the introduction of his eccentric family to his beloved. To shield Flo from the truth about his family's unconventional ways, Greg revives his alibi agency, fabricating a set of fake parents for her.

Alibi.com 2 masterfully blends humor and heart, offering a delightful escape from the often predictable and crude jokes that plague many American comedies. The script is peppered with intelligent wordplay and situational humor, ensuring that the laughs are genuine and thought-provoking rather than relying on cheap gags and bodily functions.

The film's cast shines brightly, bringing the characters to life with impeccable comedic timing and genuine chemistry. Philippe Lacheau is charming as Greg, while Élodie Fontan radiates as Flo, their on-screen connection adding a touch of heartwarming romance to the comedic whirlwind.

Alibi.com 2 proves that comedy can be intelligent and sophisticated, leaving behind the tired tropes of American comedies that often resort to toilet humor for easy laughs. Instead, this French gem delivers a refreshing blend of clever wit, endearing characters, and a heartwarming story that will leave you smiling long after the credits roll.
  • Seen in preview in Valence, Mr Philipe Lacheau made us a MASTER PIECE yes a master piece of French comedy!!!!

Knowing that the first opus was completely huge, he's managed to make one that's better than the first, which is so rare in the film industry today, especially in comedy!

So much so that we're laughing all the way through the film - we don't have time to laugh at each joke, because it's one after the other, and it's irrespirable. It's so funny that they manage to make us laugh from the first to the last second of the film!

La Bande à Fifi are the best in French comedy today, the only ones to vary and offer new content, excellent film concepts and very, very original !!!!!

I'm not afraid to say it's a big change from other comedy films in France, which are rather repetitive in their content...
