Genevieve O'Reilly in Welcome to the Rebellion (2025)

Trivia

Welcome to the Rebellion

Andor

Edit
The imperial senate scenes were shot largely on location at the Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias (City of Arts and Sciences) in Valencia, Spain. Previously, this site was already prominently featured in season three of Westworld (2016) as the DELOS headquarters.
The first blaster that Vel picks up to examine on Yavin IV is a BlasTech A-180 modular blaster, the same kind of blaster used by Jyn Erso in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016). As a modular blaster it has various attachments allowing it to be configured as a pistol, combat rifle or sniper rifle.

The prop for the A-180 is built around an airsoft WE Luger P08, which itself is a replica of the German Luger 9x19mm pistol, first produced in 1898 it was the primary sidearm of the German military in World War I & II . Many of the blasters in Star Wars are based off real life World War I & World War II era firearms, most notably the BlasTech DL-44 heavy blaster pistol used by Han Solo was built around a German Mauser C96 7.63x25mm machine pistol first produced in 1896, and the E-11 series of blasters used by stormtroopers and Death Troopers (as well as the BlasTech DH-17) were built around a British Sterling L2A3 9x19mm submachine gun first produced in 1944. Some of the blasters new to Rogue One and Andor are based off newer post-World War II firearms. Examples being the BlasTech A300 blaster rifle used by Rebel Alliance forces on Scariff and by Cassian on Edau, which can be configured as a assault rifle or sniper rifle, is built around an airsoft replica of the AR-15 5.56x45mm automatic rifle; the A300 is a modified version of the A280 blaster rifle used by Rebel Commandos at the Battle of Endor in Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi (1983), which was built around the M4A1 5.56mm assault rifle. The blaster rifles used by Vel's team, that were first seen in Aldhani (2022), have yet to be given a name but they are built from airsoft replicas of the AKMS 7.62x39mm assault rifle, which is a variant of the Russian AK-47 rifle.
Whether intended or not, the scene where the console tech notices that Mon Mothma's listening device in her office has gone offline very much resembles the scene in Spaceballs when the radar tech notices that the radar had been "jammed."
