A film that goes in routes of older films, with some elements and bgm that reminded me of an era when Jagadish was an upcoming superstar, and Jayram and Suresh Gopi were doing lead combo-roles. I don't have much hate for the story. Characters aren't required to be developed for films like this, that is not the aim of the film, it just have to move along and needs to be fun, a bit of goodness, and a bit lovey-dovey without straining the audience with a lot of inconsistencies and negative shades. I would say this is a film where I liked Dhyan being himself and responding to scenes as he is after Adi Kapyare Kootamani. I believe films that showcase his natural playfulness and a bit of self-serving mentality is what fits him well now. If one can categorise about the characters that most of the actors in the industry play, it is evident that there are some roles that fit them very well. There are only some who could do versatile roles with a pizzaz, and only a few who would just bring out the character as such without any touch of their own personality. Anyhow, I am not body-shaming or anything, but I wish Dhyan would trim-down a bit, and keep a healthy level of chubbiness that is fit for his body-frame. One thing in the film that I did not understand and appreciate was Aju's under the lip prosthetic, it was not required at all and I don't know why he agreed to it either.
