During a car chase, one character is shot in the chest with a sniper rifle. We see a small bloody wound. Dazed from the shot, he attempts to help his team mate and is shot in the face, thrown to the ground, and shot in the throat 9 times. One shoots him, just before he fires the grenade, knocking the moving vehicle that they are standing on off course. The force throws him and his team mate off the car.
