Sadly the two have decided to split, saying they want to focus on 'having fun' and 'enjoying young adulthood' as singles. The pair has revealed that many of their online followers have expressed disappointment over the separation, but most also wished Arin and Katie only but the best for their futures.

Nine-year-old Keat Rhodes looks just like any other little girl, but she was actually born male. The schoolgirl was only seven years old when she was diagnosed with gender identity disorder and began her transition from boy to girl. Since then she has undergone an incredible transformation with the support of her adoptive parents Emily and Clint LeVan from Ohio, USA. Over the next few years Keat will undergo treatment to complete her transition from male to female. Today Keat is the picture of happiness but it hasn't been easy and the family has endured a huge backlash from parents in their community. Made the subject of a Facebook hate campaign, they were accused of child abuse. Some even suggested Emily was turning Keat into a Barbie doll. But they have fought the bullies and are striving to give their daughter a normal life.

Transgender Rei Griffiths, 25, was born a female called Nicola and started living as a man four years ago. He started dating his girlfriend, straight woman, Ayeshah Bekhat, 20, eight months ago. The couple, from Trefforest, South Wales, plan to move in together this summer and have discussed marriage and children. Rei plans to undergo full gender reassignment surgery in the future to turn into a biologically male body.

The 47-year-old had known all of her life that she had the mind of a woman, but it wasn't until last year that she summoned the courage to come out. Transgender model Isis King took the fashion world by storm after appearing on the popular television program. She transitioned in her early twenties and has had full reassignment surgery and breast augmentation. But despite having the body she craved all her life, the twenty-eight-year-old, who also models for big brands like American Apparel, now wants a partner to share her success with. She says her fame, which came from being the world's most famous transgender person while in the spotlight of the show, means people already know she's transgender and loose interest. She often gets recognized by people who know she is transgender. Most recently the model opened eyes as she stole the spotlight walking in the 2015 Betsey Johnson Spring-Summer fashion show at the Fashion Week in New York.

Singer Nikki Exotika is aiming for stardom by creating America's first transgender pop group. Nikki, who's real name is Nicole Sanders, has been working on the idea for almost ten years, but feels that the US is finally ready for a mainstream pop act featuring an all transgender line-up. Nicole was born Jason Torres and transitioned in her teens. Since then, she has spent £120,000 on surgery including breast implants, lip enhancements, calf implant and rhinoplasty. She plans to call the group The Secret Girls, which will be a cross between The Pussycat Dolls and the Spice Girls.
