    Warning: Spoilers
For an action movie lover as me if I have to summarize it simply : way more enjoyable than the first movie. I liked it even though it doesn't have a strong/unique plot to convey. It is very colorful, summerish, shiny, party, exactly what we need in the hot weather of summer. I liked the shooting so much, the colors used by the directors, the places chosen, Asli's outfits. It was short but funny to watch.

The plane part of a bit cheesy and cheap but I laughed a lot at Asli's character scenes. I didn't like Demet at all in her rom-coms and neither did I like her in Love Tactics 1. But she had improved a lot in this one and apparently guess what: she made me laugh! I rated the first movie with a 4 because I really hated it overall but in the second one they really improved so much and their work and effort got rewarded. Love Tactics 2 is the most watched rom-com on the platform just three days after its premiere! I was surprised when I learned that and tbh I'm happy for them.
  • Love Tactics 2 is a good "destination marketing movie" or "tourism promotional movie." It showcase the beauty, culture, attractions, and unique aspects of a Turkey, encouraging viewers to visit and explore. The movie features stunning cinematography, lighthearted comedy, and memorable characters to create a captivating narrative that sparks wanderlust and promotes tourism.

A lighthearted comedy that aims to entertain and amuse viewers with humorous situations, good looking cast, and comedic performances. It is a good choice for those looking for a light and enjoyable movie experience that brings laughter and uplifts the mood.

Buckle up, people, I have thoughts. I'm a cinematic masochist, I've been told, and I proudly carry this title. Love Tactics part 1 left me raging for days and for the right reasons - all of them listed in the review. So when the sequel came... Well, I got my drinks chilled, I got my ice-cream in a bowl and I got my Netflix on. I was ready to shred it to pieces, cause as we know, sequels are 9 out of 10 cases inferior to part one.

Well, color me shocked, this part was actually better. No, it doesn't mean it was good, it just means that I didn't feel like murdering anyone when the end credits rolled. But let's start from the beginning.

Plot It's been a year. Asli and Kerem are still together, both appalled cause their respective friends, Tuna and The Screaming One, are getting married. They both act like little idiots about it, cause why would a woman want to be married, what kind of a man would voluntarily put a ring on it blah blah blah. Same old stereotypes they were shouting on the top of their lungs in the first film. Surprisingly, it didn't bother me this much, I guess my tropical rum did its thing. Anyway, the two lovebirds go to dinner, giving us, well - giving me, probably the only funny scene in the entire movie. Asli spewing nonsense about how a marriage is useless etc. And Kerem telling her it's wonderful she says that, cause he doesn't want to marry her. And this is where Asli got pissed, cause, as she told her girlfriends, he's allowed to not want to get married, but he's not allowed to not want to get married TO HER. So she decides to do everything to change his mind. Not cause she want's to get married, mind you. No. It's cause she's narcissistic brat and it's all about Me Me Me. After his buddies tell Kerem that Asli lied, cause "every woman wants to get married" , he decides to do everything to make sure she never thinks of marrying him. Because you know, marriage is prison.

Ugh... Can you tell how much I still hate those characters?

Anyway. The oh-so-funny shenanigans begin, Asli borrows a baby (yeah, you read that correctly) and goes to Kerem's office to show him she'll be a good mom, though, as her friends pointed out, she dislikes children. But hey, who cares, she's a woman on a mission, so when Kerem invites her over and expects her to serve his buddies (cause you know, a wife = a maid) she does so with a sweet smile. Kerem panics and decides to use the fact his buddy is arguing with his wife to show Asli that marriage is boring, kills love and passion. Bravo for using your friends as props, that's so healthy I teared up. Asli decides to show Kerem that marriage can be full of love for many decades. So she invites him to meet her parents. Cause you know, she hasn't introduced him to them in a year of being exclusive. Now, this was supposed to be a comic relief, I believe, with daddy going through midlife crisis and riding a motorcycle and mommy drinking like a fish and demanding divorce right there and then, but gotta say, the actors weren't good and it was cringy. Like "I don't want to live on this planet anymore" cringy.

Meanwhile I'm beginning to feel like I'm watching a movie from the 1990s about highschoolers, not about people in their early 30s. God bless the rum.

Anyway, stuff happens, an old school friend of Asli comes back, he's successful, rich and apparently hot, so Kerem is jealous, but not too much, cause he knows he's the hottest alpha under the sun, right? Then there's a bachelorette party on an island, where the girlfriends do, what all women around the world do, according to horny teenage boys, that is, and they dance in lingerie. And swim synchronically in the pool. And dress up in high heels and latex dresses to sit on the pier and drink champagne. You know, that's my typical Wednesday. Ugh... The guys crash the bachelorette, cause of course they do. The soon-to-be newlyweds spill the beans and Asli learns about Kerem's plan and he learns about hers and I just roll my eyes cause what kind of idiots wouldn't realize sooner, that something was going on? So they dance the tango which, in all fairness, was pleasant to watch, and they talk during it, which on the other hand was a cringe, cause the idiots keep lying. Very healthy relationship, this one.

Anyway, everybody gets drunk and in the morning Kerem takes Asli for a plane ride. Cause she's so great with heights she turns into a freakin' foghorn, as the first movie showed us. I turned down the volume, cause I learn fast. Oh, but Kerem got smart, you see, he got his girlfriend pills. And here comes the second so called comic relief in the guise of a pilot without a license. I'm not even gonna get into it. I'll just skip to the part where the pilot is out like a light and they fly into a storm cloud. Kerem gets scared and she proposes to Asli, but she's high as a kite and laughs. Meanwhile I finish another drink and thank the fate I have a day off the next day, cause I'm getting too old for this garbage.

The hot as damn old friend from school offers Asli an amazing job opportunity, but she'd have to go to Dubai for 6 months. Kerem decides to marry her and proposes, they have sex on the table and a wedding on the beach.

    The End

Like I said, it is not a good film, but it didn't make me homicidal, so that's a plus. The plot was predictable like the order of the days in the week, but whatever. It's a rom-com, I didn't expect intellectual stimulation. The views were beautiful, cinematography was also good, the music was forgettable, but whatever. Ozyildiz was better, acting wise, than in the 1st one, or maybe his character was simply less annoying. Ozdemir toned down her acting and there were moments where I noticed her yesteryears comedy chops. Still, Asli was annoying AF.

So, to sum it up. 4/10 for the movie.

    10/10 for the rum.

Demet is brilliant in every role she takes whether drama or comedy, but please do not make Love Tactics 3 because it will super duper upper boring like Love Tactics 2 (not interesting) and its predecessor Love Tactics 1 (tedious). What silly stories to tell in Love Tactics 2 and 1. Sure it is summer and fun to watch these kind of movies, but they are purely a waste of time making them. I understand it's a Netflix algorithm, but still! The movies' ideas are taken from American and Spanish movies -- repeat, copy, and paste. There is nothing hilarious about the first and the second, they are regular "okay" comedy which you rarely laugh.
  • What a great second installment. Did not disappoint. Loved it even more than the first one. The storyline was fun and enter. The tempo was fast and fun. Demet and Sukru , great Rom Com duo. Gorgeous to look at and their acting couldn't be any better. Would watch them again and again. Loved the baby sequence and the altitude plane one too. The wardrobe and scenery gorgeous. Wonderful, fun cast. The ending was beautiful and esthetically gorgeous . Could not have asked for a better ending. I recommend it. Fun, fast, silly , entertaining and oh so sensual at times. Perfect Summer Rom Com movie. Perfect for date night at home.

What a horrible show! Didn't think it could get worse than the first but it was an epic waste of time! So stupid and superficial with an overacting female lead who is a joke! The male lead was so handsome but wasted his talents on this show!

Very predictable concept with the life of the lavish rich and famous and just plain disgusting.

Netflix really stooped to an all time low with this one. This production was not the bottom of the barrel, it was under the barrel. The supporting cast was just as bad as the lead protagonists so there are no merits to watching this show.

If you think it will get better and continue watching until the end you will be terribly disappointed.

Netflix you just dialed a big zero with this show and wasted your money, and mine, on this mindless production.
  • Demet Ozdemir and Sukru Ozyildiz are back with the rest of the cast from Love Tactics (Ask Taktikleri) in this Turkish summer romantic comedy. Their characters Asli and Kerem fell in love in the first film and are back to help their mutual friends Tuna and Ezgi get married...with all the folderol that surrounds a wedding. This leads to Asli saying she does not want to get married and Kerem saying he doesn't want to marry Asli...now Asli wants to trick Kerem into wanting to marry her and Kerem wanting to convince Asli that marriage is horrible...let the games begin or love tactics as they call it.

Beautiful Turkish backdrop...especially an island bachelorette party retreat that the boys crash when the handsome Bukut comes on to the scene. We also get to meet Emir's mysterious wife Feride, who is not only gorgeous but a friend of both Asli's and Bukut's. I was thrilled with the addition of both Ceyhun Mengiroglu and Melisa Dongel, who are exceptional actors that I have enjoyed in other Turkish series.

I am a big fan of both Demet and Sukru (sorry IMDB will not let me use the appropriate characters for my review) and I enjoy watching Turkish series in general, it gives me an opportunity to practice my Turkish language skills. This is a lightweight but very colorful romantic comedy and I think romantics will enjoy it. It was lighter on plot than the first film, but more than made up for it in sets, backdrops, additions to the cast, and costuming. I was happy to see the final scenes and I think most romantics will be pleased as well.

This review is based on watching the film in it's original Turkish language with English subtitles.

I loved the first movie and was super excited to know about a second Love Tactics. The characters and camaraderie were all so enjoyable as the first film. The actors do a great job in their role and they keep me coming back for more. I was disappointed in the development of the plot in this film. It started of really well but the other guy drama was lazy plot and the plane bit was just random for the lack of better word. The scene had an important purpose but the writers could've definitely done better, doing something more natural in its place. Another thing I found odd were the creepy closeups of the girls' legs/ bodies during montage scenes. Overall I really enjoyed the acting, the dialogue and the cinematography but I think plot development needs to be worked on. I would love a third installment.
  • We live the summer with this film, fun, relaxing, not boring at all. I really appreciate the charisma, versatility and talent of Demet, rightfully considered the queen of Turkish comedy - I was impressed by the beauty and sensuality of Demet's dance scenes, I want to see her in a new project on Netflix, dancing. Seeing the beauty of the landscapes in the film, the film seems to invite you to visit Turkey. Whoever watches this film will not regret it, it disconnects you from everyday life. Thank you Demet, Sucru, the whole team, you reminded us to laugh! PS: Haters have appeared, they should not be ignored.
  • Totally hilarious and romantic at the same time! I love the first one but I enjoyed this one better. The whole cast are great and the leads are amazing together. Not only are they easy on the eyes, they are also great actors. Asli and Kerem's manipulation tactics have upgraded, their chemistry shone in the simple scenes and the movie showcased the beautiful summer destination spots of Turkey, you would want to fly there straightaway!

This is the kind of movie that you want to watch if you want to feel-good after. It's predictable, some scenes are cliché but effective. It's a heartwarming and fun! Their dance scene was one of the highlights. Demet is indeed a romcom queen and she can dance amazingly well!
  • Demet, Sukru, and the rest of the team have done an amazing job, this second film will not disappoint you.

It's a romantic comedy, light, funny, with beautiful colorful scenery, everything you'd expect on a hot summer's day.

You live the adventures of Kerem, Asli, and their friends, but you also travel to Turkey, beaches, city, landscapes are breathtaking.

The actors deliver fine performances, with a special mention for Demet Ozdemir, who once again shines on the screen, the costume department did a beautiful job with her clothes.

Asli & Kerem continue their tactics of love, will they work? Not to be missed !
  • The second part from Ask continues the humor of the first part with two rather extraordinary scenes : playing with a baby reminding classical American movies with rather hilarious results ... another hilarious scene was with the fake policemen (Full Monty) in the bachelor party and finally with the impressively comedic scary flight of the hydroplane..

Once again the landscapes and photos are excellent (the island , the beautiful places ) The only question is that this part is heavily Americanized... more than the first part

I slightly overrate that from the part 1 giving 9 . Humor is paramount with lots of scenes or deep feelings and romance in the fast lane. It is paces very fast as the first asking the movie seem as _action romance_.

My wife loved it. Seen also the first rated the same and disliked the original story how to lose a guy in 10 days.
  • This is the best summer movie i ever watch this year, very entertaining, the lead actress Demet is superb, she always olay her role good, i love her , very good actress and work hard for herself she deserved all the best being a good person all she does is to work and give us happiness, we laugh, we smile,we cry for her..Demet is a good actress a good person she give justice to every role..producer like her and we love her shes great.

Love tactis 1 abd 2 are good, highly recomended it make your stress go away...bravo to Demet, Sukru and the whole cast and the team. Congratulations, lets watch.
  • Love Tactics 2 is a sweet, good-natured romantic comedy that succeeds on every level it is trying to be. The story is well-written and more original then it may come off from the trailers.

This movie is almost entirely character driven and it is great. It's very funny, positive and enjoyable.. However, Demet Özdemir and Sükrü Özyildizs' outstanding performances propel this movie to greatness.

I think I've watched this movie about 5 times. I adore it, adore the idea, adore the script and simply love the way it has been produced. I'll probably watch it again wayyyyy too soon.

While the ending is predictable, it's sweet and makes you smile. Wonderful film!!

    P. S. : Demet Özdemir is the queen of Romantic Comedies.

I was also very impressed by the beauty and sensuality of Demet's dance scenes!!!

Conclusion: If you're in the mood for a good laugh and pleasant movie-going experience, this is a great movie to watch.

Wow Demet exceeded her own record. She is a versatile actress that can play any character and she is definitely the queen of romcom in Turkey.

Sukru as Kerem he is just SUPER

Season 1 was good but Season 2 is even Better. The movie has an addicting effect like Erkensi Kus I just loved it Demet and Sukru's chemistry is on another level, the whole cast is great.

The movie is so funny so perfect for summer pure comedy and romantic. I love everything about it.

The location where they shoot the movie was so colourful nature on its best.

Congratulations to the whole team on a succesful project.
  • Great movie! Funny, light, beautiful comedy. The film is not Turkish at all, it looks more like an American one. It's very beautifully shot, nature, humor, bright acting... everything worked out and was crowned with success! Bravo Demet and Shukru! This movie is just desktop... I recommend watching every time he gets sad, bad weather ... he will lift his mood one hundred percent. Demet, gorgeous, charming, cute as a child and sexy as a goddess.

Tandem with Shukryu, just crazy. Demet's acting skills, his versatility once again confirmed his talent in everything. The dancing in this film was even more captivating. Tango and dance on the sand is beyond praise. I love this wonderful actress and admire always.
  • Warning: Spoilers
I loved it so much, I've watched it more than five times already

The movie is simply wonderful. From the humorous tirades of the characters to the deep dialogues between the main couple.

I really enjoyed seeing Kerem and Asli more receptive and collaborative, when it comes to their ideas. I came to think that she would give him up to the detriment of work, but the screenwriter surprised me with a mature and much less impulsive attitude (a strong trait of Asli's personality). I also liked seeing Kerem disarm and speak everything he felt, especially knowing that he was very skeptical and rational.

The only thing I didn't like was the change of the actor who plays Emir (Kerem's friend). The other one is much more expressive and had a better way for humor.
  • Of course the haters of this wonderful actress have come to lower the ratings because it is too painful for them to have to admit that Demet is the best Turkish actress if we talk about versatility, charisma and beauty. After seeing everything about her I prefer her in dramatic roles like Adim farah or Dunyayla benim aramda but I must say these two films with Sukru are a gem of entertainment. They have comic timing and an uncommon harmony, two hours of pure fun. Highly recommended. In this second chapter I loved the dance inserts of Demet and Demet and Sukru. Absolutely stunning, gorgeous couple.

This movie is super cute, fun, and beautiful. Everything is beautiful. The places, people, and fashion. Don't take it too seriously and have fun with it. Great Turkish romantic comedy. Demet really gives her all in this. Her facial expressions, physical comedy, and sass make the movie. Makes a fun girls' night movie. I'm so glad it's on Netflix and has a good translation. I wish Netflix had more Turkish romantic comedies. You also get to see and learn more of modern Turkey which has so much talent and depth to offer the world. Give it a chance and have some lighthearted fun. Tesekkurler! Thank you!
