Galina Barinova's "Medved - lipovaya noga" (which means "Bear - sticky leg") has an unsophisticated plot. It depicts a bear who who accidentally gets his foot stuck in a beehive. The other animals in the forest can't get it off so the bear looks for help elsewhere. There were a number of clever and interesting cartoons released by Soyuzmultfilm, but this one is too banal to truly recommend. Among the ones that I recommend are "The Hedgehog and the Fog" and their adaptation of "Winnie the Pooh".
I sometimes wonder if the Soviet Union ever made a series of cartoons comparable to the Bugs Bunny cartoons.
