Since I wasn't a fan of hers during her peak period of stardom, I was a bit mystified at Bobbi Starr's prominence in the Adult field when I began to look back at her career in recent years. This Harmony Films adoration of Ms. Starr by Gazzman helps explain her importance.
We get to see not only Bobbi's uninhibited personal attitude towards sex but her skill as a performer over the course of 3 hours of all-sex movie, plus useful short subjects allowing her to explain herself and do demos. Not the most beautiful, physically arresting (no big boobs or even butt prominence) or even sultry of glamour girls, Bobbi makes up in sweat equity what she lacks in surface appeal.
Gazzman surrounds the American star with Euro girls, some familiar and threatening to upstage her (Daria Glower an Cindy Dollar) and some quite obscure but arousing "new faces" (only relatively speaking): Stracy Stone and Black actress Dunia Montenegro.
The action tends to escalate to gonzo content, part of Gazzman's strategy in his "Nymphomaniac" series, but the house style of Britain's Harmony keeps a sense of class in both the lingerie and the gals' approach to what in other hands (think Buttman, Lizzy Borden or Max Hardcore) quickly degenerates into gross-out. That's perhaps why I'm so attracted to Brit Porn, as it tends to avoid the excesses of Chatsworth garbage while still maintaining a strong, uncensored technique in presenting explicit sex.
