Dory has a panic attack at one moment. This can be very powerful and sad for many people.
This film is less intense than its predecessor, since it sometimes adds some comic relief to the intense scenes.
For people who feel like they don't fit in like Dory, this film can be VERY emotional
A little more tamer than Finding Nemo not as many scary scenes
On December 17, 2023, I heard that Finding Dory might get a G re-rating.
More uplifting than the first movie.
Mild/Moderate for neurodivergent viewers.
A large squid attacks Marlin, Nemo, and Dory.
There is a pervasive theme of losing one's family throughout.
Dory is put in a bucket with dead fish. This is played to comedic effect however.
