  • Instead of selling dreams, this movie sells... Nothing but misery that's presented as "realism". And I don't say that all movies should be "happy" and funny and joyful, nor the cinema must be entertaining - no, actually I like kind-of-sad movies. But this is not a sad movie either. It's a nonsense. No one needs to watch this, though we've all seen this many times.

If the intention of this film was to disgust people from the corrupt post-socialist mentality and chalga-culture, to be something like a wake-up call - it may have succeeded. A little. For those who need that at least. For any other purposes, it's a massive nonsense.

Last but not least. Characters smoking all the time is the worst example you can give. Okay, I know - cinema doesn't necessarily have to be educational. Still, no one needs to watch this, though we've all seen this many times. And NO: smoking and drinking 60% of the screen time doesn't give you some character depth or dramatic look. What year is it?
  • I catched this by accident in Sofia. And I totally do not get it. Why??? I do not blame the team and the cast but how could you give money to such a project? Why? At the start i thought It is meant to be a parody but i am not sure it was and it was not funny at all. The characters have no motivation whatsoever, there is no plot, no point. You are just watching and asking yourself "why"? The industry does not need this, the public does not need this, even the team does not need it. The strangest thing is that this project is a co-production. Bulgaria and Sweden both read it and financed it? Why?
  • Warning: Spoilers
This incredible Finnish piece is without a doubt one of the better films of the year, and yet another testament to the provice of the country's and director's filmography.

The script is very dark, and conveyed beautifully through incredible acting. They all do an incredible job, and it all feels very raw and tragic.

This is at its core a film about relationships, both literally and metaphorically; and it's very subtle and made in a sense of impending tragedy and broken promises.

Overall, a very beautifully cinematographied, shot, cut and edited film with beautiful and unique themes that is very much recommended!
